Sea Turtle Cove is The Place to Make Lifelong Island Memories!!
Sea Turtle Cove is located just west of 61st Street on Seawall Boulevard in the Victorian Condominiums. The unit has been completely updated, beautifully decorated, thoughtfully appointed to create an elegant, yet playful, owner's retreat and vacation rental. The apartment features a hybrid queen bed in the bedroom with nightstands, lamps, ceiling fan, TV with cable and closet. The custom built full kitchen has granite counters, lots of cabinets and is fully equipped with a full sized refrigerator/freezer, combo microwave/convection oven, four element glass range, dishwasher, cookware and utensils, plates, bowls, glasses, tumblers, silverware and more. The open concept floor-plan keeps the conversation going with a couch and love-seat, both with pull out beds, a recliner and wall mounted big screen TV with cable and Roku. There is a very large balcony right off the living room with Adirondack loungers to enjoy outdoors! The bathroom has a walk in shower with white subway tile, updated vanity and toilet. 100% cotton towels and sheets, paper towels, toilet paper, cleaning products, dish and laundry soap, coffee, creamer and sweeteners are all included. The property has two swimming pools, one is heated year round, tennis courts, fitness center, BBQ area, covered parking and is completely fenced and gated. The beach is across the street and many restaurants and shopping are also within walking distance, including Walmart, Sonic, Pit Stop BBQ, and Orange Leaf frozen Yogurt. There may be some variations in furnishings or decor since pictures were taken.

Please check in at the front office before going to your unit. There is a $35 resort fee for up to 14 days and will increase to $70 for 15-30 days; that includes a parking pass, amenity bands, and entry codes into the property gates and pools. This fee will allow you access to the property as well as the codes for amenities and parking for up to 2 vehicles. If you pay an ADDITIONAL FEE of $35, it will cover up to 2 extra vehicles. Every motorized vehicle MUST BE registered. (Car, Truck, SUV, Motorcycle, Slingshot, Golfcart, Trailer, etc.) Trailers will be charged $35 per axle. All trailers must be unhitched and parked in over flow parking area. Trailers are allowed during Galveston's Lone Star Rally week only. The office is open from 7am to 11pm and will not accept cash. Please be sure your car is registered with The Victorian as they reserve the right to tow any unregistered vehicles. Must be 25 years of age. Photo identification is required. All fees and services may be subject to 15% tax.

Great weekend

I was a little worried about the place when I rounded the corner after climbing the stairs because it has a prison hallway feel, but the room was really cute and well kept. To make the place even better, I would recommend blackout curtains in the bedroom as the hallway light shines through the blinds in the bedroom. I would also recommend adding an air fryer or toaster oven since there is no oven. Overall, I was pleased with the stay.

Cute place, slightly shabby complex, good price.

Check in was not great as we had to pay an extra fee that wasn't mentioned in the listing, wait in line, and fill out more paperwork, but the front desk folks were nice enough. And other than being met by a dead roach upon entry to the unit, the unit was clean and nicely decorated. It's a bit cramped and there is no dresser so you have to live out of you suitcase and the small closet, but there is a stacked washer and dryer. The owner had a nice new fridge delivered while we were there and she was really nice and made sure the delivery didn't interfere with our stay. For the price you can't beat it, especially the location. It is close enough to everything you want to do in Galveston. I would add a dresser and put a new toilet seat in there... little details like that can help, but wouldn't hesitate to stay again if on a budget and wanting a beachside stay in Galveston.

Cozy and quaint

Great experience. Good service. The place was very cozy, it was well set and had everything we needed to have a good time. We did not use any of the complex's amenities, but perhaps next time. Nonetheless it was great. My only suggestion relates to the check-in process. Had I known I had to re-do the parking sheet, I would have simply brought a prin-out of the online filled form. It made for a jammed check-in as all guests were scrambling to pull all the information again for the front desk. Not sure why they don't have this form in advance since we complete it as part of the rental process before arriving.

Great for staycation!

This was a cute place to bring our kids for a weekend getaway! The location is perfect, and the pools are a great perk! We have stayed at the Victorian before, and we didn’t really have any complaints the first time. This was our second time, but our first time in this particular condo. Check-in when we got there was…interesting. The people who work in the check-in office seem like they hate their job. They acted like it was an inconvenience when anyone walked up to the desk. So, that should probably change, but that’s no fault of the condo owner. As far as the condo… the listing says it has an oven, but there is no oven. There is a stovetop and a microwave. The microwave has some convection oven buttons, but there isn’t an oven. Next, the condo had only 3 towels. There were 4 of us during this stay (my husband, me, our son, and our daughter), so we all had to share towels, which wasn’t ideal… yes, there’s a washer/dryer, but that doesn’t help when everyone needs a shower after a beach day. In the shower, there is a dispenser mounted on the wall for shampoo/conditioner and body wash, but everything was empty, and the dispenser actually looked broken. We brought all of our own things, so it wasn’t that big of a deal, but either fix it and fill it, or remove it. There were linens for the pull-out couch bed but no pillow cases, so the kids just used the pillows with no cases. The pillows appeared to be clean, so again, not a huge deal, but pillow cases are always preferred.

22nd Anniversary celebration
