This home is nestled just 10 miles away from downtown Galveston, so get ready to explore unlimited shopping, dining, and entertainment. Don't forget to hit the Historic Pleasure Pier!

Decorated in warm beachy tones and style to set the mood for your trip, the interior of this home features trendy updates, like a barn door entrance to one of the bedrooms. Gather beneath the living area's vaulted ceiling for some chill time by the TV. The enormous, open kitchen features a large center island with bar seating and is great for preparing your favorite meals. Enjoy the smaller seating nook as well, where you can make a delicious cup of coffee, or two. Additional perks include complimentary WiFi, central air-conditioning, and a laundry room with a private washer/dryer for additional convenience.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The property was in severe need of upkeep (dirty floors, dirty cabinets, peeling paint, soiled furniture, etc.). The heat also stopped working and we were told to buy a space heater on our own. Would have expected better service from the manager.

The house was very, very clean and in order. They had stocked a large amount of coffee which was thoroughly enjoyed. With the exception of the numerous stairs that you had to climb to get to the door, our experience was very good. We would definitely stay there again if they put in an elevator for us seniors. Just a little humor. We had an issue with a smoke alarm that would beep indicating the battery needed to be replaced. I called the number that I was supplied with and a technician came to replace the battery in 20 minutes. You couldn’t get that kind of service in a hotel. All in all we had a great time thank you.

Tried to get management to replace the refrigerator filter day one of our 7 day stay. It never happened. The ice tasted bad. House needed updates.We were expecting a gas grill due to comments that one was there. We had to cancel a dinner party because we couldn’t grill steaks. There was construction on the beach during our entire stay. Very disappointing.

Very pretty house with updated amenities (AC, water, etc were all great), completely unobstructed views of the ocean, and right next to a beach access. The upper deck has shade in the afternoon, which was wonderful. The beds were very comfortable as well and it was all very clean. There is some room for improvement in terms of kitchen/table utensils - for example there were no teaspoons available, and only 1 usable pan, which I used to heat up water for tea. There was no electric kettle available. The list can go on, but suffice it to say is that there was a major mismatch between the house and the kitchen/table setting details.

Relaxing as advertised

I spent a few days relaxing here. Nice clean place right on the beach. I was there with my dog but the set up of the house would make this a great place for two couples since the living room separates the two bedrooms giving added privacy. I’d definitely recommend this place and would rent there again.

"Seas The Day"

This property is beach front sunrise side of Galveston. If you are looking for a blissful place on the beach this checks all the boxes; large chairs and table on the deck overlooking God's gift of nature, a living area facing the water with large windows, a nice kitchen, two beds, two baths, tv, games and more. For us, the beach was all we needed.

Ants, Broken lock on door and more

Door lock was broken and from reading a review from a stay just prior to mine, I see that they were well aware of the lock issue. When I called to after we couldn't enter the property, I was initially hung up on. Long story short, some of our groceries melted and had to be thrown out because it took so long to get into the property. Ants were everywhere and the AC also did not work well at all. Those things were also mentioned in other reviews the same month as mine. It seems the owners and management just don't care I guess. House did not look as nice as it does in listing photos. After spending over 2K to stay here, the last thing I wanted to do was deal with house issues! The only plus about this place is the location, the view and neighborhood is great.

Steps from the beach!

This is a wonderful little house with just a few steps to the beach. We had a family of 4 and fit very comfortably. We had some issues with the AC but the property manager was able to resolve those and got someone to come out late in the evening. Huge shoutout to Carlos for making this a priority and fixing it. Otherwise, the stay was perfect. The beds are very comfortable and the property was well kept. The porch was perfect for winding down in the evening with a cocktail and listening to the waves. We will come back!

Ants. Mosquitos. No A/C. Smelly. There’s a reason for the For Sale Sign.

Spent a week with my wife and three kids under 7 and we were battling bugs, a smelly secondary bedroom, a shower that wouldn’t drain, and an air conditioner that had a hard time keeping it under 80 for most of the days we were there. Door codes wouldn’t work. Had to call and get access to lockbox keys. Called for bug service to address the many ants crawling throughout the kitchen and living room. Never addressed. Took multiple calls to get them to checkout the AC. Finally they sent someone out late at night. AC guy even said it’s an old system that doesn’t look properly serviced and that it’s likely the owner is ignoring it since they are selling. Made it very difficult for kids and us to fall asleep. Couldn’t hangout on the patio. SO MANY BUGS and Mosquitos, with no treatment. Had to invest in several citronella candles and mosquito fog so my fam could sit out on the patio. Primary bathroom shower would not drain. Took at least 15 Minutes for it to drain post shower. Water stain on secondary ceiling that made the room smell. That or it was Cat pee. Smelled like it. This was our worst beach trip, hoping it would be one of our best since we had a whole house right at the beach. Not the case. Way overplayed for this stay, and have requested compensation/refund based on the experience. Have yet to hear back.
