Peaceful Beach Stay

The Salty Air Retreat is away from the hustle and bustle of Galveston and was so peaceful. The condo has a lovely view and was decorated beautifully. We had everything we needed to feel at home for our stay.

Fantastic stay for Friends Weekend

This was a great place to stay for our annual Friends Weekend. The place was spotless and very well stocked. The pots and pans were in great shape, the towels were thick and soft and the beds were comfortable. Extra shoutout to James the property manager. He went above and beyond for us!

Great stay at Salty Air Retreat

We had a great time at the Salty Air Retreat! It was close to the beach and had a great view. The living room had great decoration making it feel like home with pillows and blankets. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and the dining room allowed for 6 guests. The only downfall was the initial musty smell, which disappeared after we increased the AC to remove the humidity. The property manager was very attentive, quickly retuning text messages and/or calling. He even provided tips for grocery store locations. We would love to visit again!

Great condo

Our second stay here and the condo does not disappoint. Only negative is one towel per person. Having to do a load of towels every day is not what I want to do on vacation. Unfortunately the killer swarm mosquitoes on the property will keep us away from pointe west. Was hoping this year would be better, but it was not.

Great stay! The elevator is slow and gets stuck a lot, but we just took the stairs. Just be aware. Otherwise perfect! Great view and amenities.

Spring Break

We stayed Monday through Friday and had a great time. Condo was clean and well appointed. All around a great time. Boardwalks to beach wete nice and pools were great. Will definitely book another stay with the family.

Very relaxing vacation time

The unit is very nice and clean. Everything is organized and kitchen is very well equipped. Loved the privacy and cleanliness of the beach and enjoyed the green areas. James replied to my request as soon as he read ny message and that says a lot of a host that really cares about the guests. I really had a great time and will come back. Thanks for everything.

Weekend get away

We had a wonderful time at the beach! The home is kept top notch, very clean & comfortable. It has everything you need! The owner is very kind to reach out & make sure you are doing ok. Would 100% come back & stay here again!

Great condo!

Condo was great! Would definitely stay again. Great view of the beach. Beach was almost empty the whole time and had the clearest water we have seen in 6 years coming to Galveston. My only suggestion would be darker curtains so we could sleep in on vacation! But that is just personal preference. Property negatives- the bar and grill was closed for renovations and we were not informed and it does not show on the website. Very disappointed. The mosquitoes were almost unbearable all over the property.

Great Property!

My husband and I stayed this past weekend. The condo is beautiful and well maintained. James was very responsive with our questions and concerns. There was a sugar container leftover in the pantry which attracted ants (probably from a previous guest). We found some Home Defense in the kitchen and took care of the issue. James was willing to come and do it for us but we took care of it ourselves. No ants came back :) No issues or problems otherwise. The elevator worked the whole weekend which was a relief since I’m suffering from a broken foot recovery. I definitely recommend this condo for your stay :)

Very noisy

Condo was great views excellent however due to construction/renovations man lifts beeping from 8 am till 5pm paint Machines and drills etc going all around us we spent as little time as possible in condo. Had we have been advised when booking that major work was going on we would never have booked. Very disappointing in view of it was our 55 wedding anniversary celebration!!
