"Six of us spent nearly three weeks at Villa Giulietta in Budapest. We had a great time! The house was comfortable, spacious, and located in a quiet, safe neighborhood. Tall trees provided welcome shade and the villa has quiet outside or inside places for reflection and resting. Our host, Julia, was amazing! Kind, attentive and helpful. The villa was well-equipped and clean with additional cleaning service provided. Anything we needed (hairdryer, towels, iron, ironing board, many clothes hangers)...

"Everything about our stay was fantastic. The facilities were great, the food delicious, most the staff was very friendly. You pay resort prices for anything outside of the offered normal breakfast and dinner buffet. Was a great weekend trip. Having a designated shuttle to downtown would make it even better. We paid quite a bit for Uber to get downtown for extra excursions. It’s about a 20-30 minute trip. Loved it and would recommend. "

"The room and hotel were clean. But the service could have been better. The coffee at the breakfast buffet was really bad, which ruins the rest of the breakfast. There was an unexpected parking fee, which we weren’t told about before checking in. Wasn’t insane, just annoyed by the unexpected charge checking in. We arrived slightly early, and they said checking in before 3 was impossible unless we paid extra to check in at 1. Overall the hotel was quiet and clean, but these little inconvenient hiccups made the trip less enjoyable. "

"To get to the hotel, in the immediate surrounding area I passed at least 3 piles of abandoned furniture, mattresses, etc. Not the hotel's fault but not the nicest experience. The shower was so hot, even at the lowest temperature that it was difficult to take a shower. When I complained they told me to closed it and wait 5 minutes for the pipes to cool down. That didn't work and I was offered no alternative. There was no room service so I arrived late and had to drive a few kilimetres to find something to eat."

Tall trees provided welcome shade and the villa has quiet outside or inside places for reflection and resting. Our host, Julia, was amazing! Kind, attentive and helpful. The villa was well-equipped and clean with additional cleaning service provided. Anything we needed (hairdryer, towels, iron, ironing board, many clothes hangers) was there, and if not Julia would provide. Another tremendous feature for us was parking available within the fenced yard because we had a rental vehicle. We could have parked it by the side of the road, but it was much more convenient and secure to park it in the yard. The villa is close to everything one wants to do and see in Budapest, either by car or by public transportation. We enjoyed our stay, loved the villa, and highly recommend it!"
