Għajn Rasul

Our room was very spacious, with quirky and interesting décor, a fridge, air conditioning and a comfortable bed. We were delighted by the little surprise left hanging on the door each evening, and even a lovely bunch of flowers to welcome us on arrival — such thoughtful touches! The location is perfect, within easy reach of just about everything Valletta has to offer and only around 10–15 minutes from the main bus terminus. The room had all the usual amenities, although you do need to ask for milk for your tea and coffee. As it’s fresh milk, I can understand why it isn’t left in the room. The staff were all very friendly, approachable and helpful, and the breakfast was lovely. One thing worth mentioning is that our room faced the street, which is quite a lively spot and can be noisy until around midnight. This wasn’t a major issue for us, as closing the windows did a great job of keeping the noise out. I imagine rooms at the rear of the property would be much quieter. Other than this minor point, I really can’t fault our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would happily stay here again if we return to Malta!

Love this hotel! We stayed 2 nights at the start of our visit and came back for our last night in Malta. The town is small but it’s so easy to use Bolt (like Uber) to travel around to see the sites. It’s a small boutique hotel and each room is unique. Super comfortable with a lot of eclectic objects that the owner has acquired. There is a lovely plunge pool by the bar area. The breakfast was perfect. They made us porridge and a full English. The staff go above and beyond and the owners are super helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this place!
