Beautiful pool and food and beverage spaces. The food was such a highlight.. fresh, seasonal and staff was so delighted to prepare dishes based on our preferences. The only complaint is that there is barely any lighting in guest room and bathroom. The attempt to create a moody atmosphere is just very unpractical.

Amazing palazzo

We recently had the pleasure of staying two nights in a beautiful palazzo. The attention to detail was stunning, the gardens were beautiful, and the rooms were spacious. I highly recommend trying the restaurant for dinner to experience their amazing local dishes. The only downside was the location, specifically for those arriving by car. There is no parking and the main street closes at 9pm, which made it tricky to drive in and out for dinner.

Every corner of the place offers surprise and delight, elegance and comfort. The delicious and abundant food offerings, the fine linen towels and sheets, the lighting, the witty arrangements of artwork and objects of interest are all the details that make one’s stay at Palazzo Daniele a time to remember! Palazzo Daniele is an extraordinary place! Old restored palace filled with art and design, super friendly and helpful staff. You encounter beauty at every corner of this place. I have just left and dream to come back there soon. We stayed at the black suite which was super spacious and had an entire roofdeck to our disposal. I was extremely charmed with the palazzo and our suite. It was one of the most magical places I have stayed at in my life. Location is perfect for discovering Salento. The downside are extra services: breakfast for 40Euro is too expensive... food is super delicious but too pricey. The same with cocktails. I was happy to hear about morning gentle yoga sessions but afterwards it appeared that they are not complimentary, instead cost 50Euro. Wifi is too weak.

Hello all travelers. The Palazzo is a beautiful building, great staff, but the doors and walls are leaky, you can hear every word and that's a shame. One thing I didn't understand is that there is a speaker in every room. I like music, it carries beautifully in the room, but what about the others? I don't think that's a good idea. Everything is extremely audible. If you want peace and quiet here, I also recommend visiting Palazzo Tafuri, it is different, but peaceful and also has a great atmosphere. it's just my opinion.

Absolutely beautiful palace hotel, with blend of old and new. Very welcoming and relaxed feel. Great location for access to beaches and gorgeous coastlines. Guests are encouraged to make it their home during stay, hanging out in garden, courtyard, pool, ball room/living room. We could easily have stayed longer than three nights. Dinners were superb and good value. Sonia is a master chef. Fabio, Roberto made my wife and I feel at home. Rooms are large and bed and bath linens provide real luxury. True highlight of stays in Puglia.

A beautifully welcoming, exquisitely designed home with a warm, friendly team. The building, both rooms and shared spaces, is incredible: a stunning mix of the original structure and details (like frescos), combined with carefully chosen modern decor and art throughout to suit each room perfectly. The team that host you are incredibly kind, knowledgeable and very accommodating. The food and wine program is fantastic, with many delicious local menu items and beautiful natural wines. The rooms are beautiful, quiet, comfortable, and include many considerate touches: toothbrushes, linen robes, speakers for music, a tote bag and towels for the pool or beach. I highly recommend Palazzo Daniele and would love to return as soon as I can!

I paid premium rates expecting the bathroom shown online, but the room we received was nothing like what was advertised. The actual bathroom was down a flight of stairs, separate from the toilet, with harsh lighting that made it feel like a dingy basement motel. There are no photos of this type of bathroom on the hotel’s own website, so there was no way to know what we were booking. Beyond that, the room had electrical issues, incorrect WiFi details, dirty floors that left dust on luggage and shoes, and no luggage stands (we requested them but only received three for five bags). The hotel admitted the listing photos were wrong but refused to offer any solution. Worst of all, management avoided me entirely — no apology, no attempt to remedy, even when the booking platform contacted them on my behalf. For the price charged, this was unacceptable and I would strongly caution against booking here.

Una delusione. Il palazzo storico che indubbiamente avrebbe un suo fascino è arredato con un minimalismo eccessivo. Manca la TV in camera, sostituita da una lampada con due tubi neon, il WIFI è scadente, si percepisce anche qualche trascuratezza nella manutenzione. Abbiamo cenato all’interno data l’impossibilità di trovare qualche alternativa nelle vicinanze e la cucina ci ha molto deluso (mi dispiace dirlo ma le polpette al sugo sono le peggiori che abbiamo mai mangiato). Nota dolente, al mattino siamo stati svegliati all’alba da chi ha pensato bene di mettersi a fare le pulizie straordinarie con l’idropulitrice sotto le nostre finestre alle 6 del mattino. Mancano le tende in bagno che si affaccia sull’aranceto e non offre alcuna privacy a chi soggiorna in camera. Oltre a tutti questi limiti il Palazzo si trova in una location poco accogliente e che non offre nulla. Unica nota di merito il personale molto gentile.

We had six days of utter bliss. Wonderful palace given a contemporary twist. Peaceful and relaxing. Wonderful food and excellent service a gem. Thanks to everyone including Andrea, Sara and Massimo.
