Cabin in the Cove - Boathouse - Dog Friendly
Open concept with hardwood floors throughout. Convenient to local restaurants and shops. Guntersville State Park is approximately 5 miles away. Boat ramp is about 1 mile away. Relax in the open kitchen/living area or the screened in porch. If sun is what you are looking for then there is a sun deck down at the boathouse. The Cabin also has several open decks to enjoy the outdoors. The Cabin can sleep up to 7 people. There's a queen size bed in the master bedroom and four twin beds in the other 2 bedrooms.
Use of the Boathouse is included with The Cabin. You will have access to 1 large boat slip with an electric lift for your use. There are tie ups available on the outside of the boat house. There is power and water at the boat house.
Owner is not responsible for personal injury or property damage but you are welcome to utilize the boat house and decks. Swim at your own risk.

The boat and watercraft toys (skis, tubes, kneeboards, etc..) are NOT available for use.
You must contact us directly and receive confirmation prior to using the kayaks or fishing tackle. The rental rate is $20 for each kayak for the duration of your stay and can be invoiced thru VRBO or paid via Paypal.
However, the Lily Pad, life jackets, and floats are for your enjoyment. Water level at the boathouse is around 4-5 feet. No diving.

The house was very clean and well stocked. There are several restaurants nearby as well as the state park which was a big plus for my family. The host are very accommodating and respond to messages quickly. We are already planning a trip back!

Very clean. We always bring our own covers for the furniture due to our small dog that sheds. But the owners already had some available so we used those. The kitchen had everything you needed. Had a great stay.

A Perfect Fishing Getaway
This was our second time staying at this property and once again, it was everything we hoped for and more. The house is wonderfully maintained, very clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you might need for a relaxing visit.We came to fish, and the peaceful setting made it the perfect place to unwind after a day on the water. It’s quiet and calm, yet just a short drive from downtown. It was close enough to grab a bite or explore, but far enough to enjoy some true rest.Communication with the host was excellent, just like last time. Everything from booking to check-out went smoothly.This will not be our last stay. It has officially become our go-to spot, and we are already looking forward to coming back!

Wonderful place on the lake
Four high school buddies and I stayed here over a long weekend. We had a great time. Check-in and check-out were easy and well described. The cabin was quiet, well-stocked, and convenient. It has a great covered deck as well as an uncovered deck. Great place for family and friends.

Love this place all the commodity’s a fisherman can ask for, great boat accommodations which is locked up and safe, location of house is great for crappie fisherman puts you within a 15 minute boat ride to our favorite spots
