「The staff at the royal Marine would not do any more for you, the room was upgraded to a sea view and that was amazing, we sat and had two beautiful dinners, the dining room is redecorated wonderfully and they even did a santas grotto. It’s like fine dining for incredibly prices, I really wish more people start to visit so they can keep bringing this old hotel back to full glory, they deserve it. Would we stay again absolutely!! 」

「This is possibly the most charming hotels and place I can remember staying. It’s an old building in a harsh Scottish environment and that is part of its charm. If you want pristine decoration it’s not for you. If you want excellent hospitality, fantastic staff and walls full of the owner’s original art, go. Walk the Crinan trail - the view from the viewpoint is one of the best on a clear day (it is a steep walk though). A genuine Scottish gem.」

「グラスゴーのハイランドの入り口に立地して、ロッホめぐりに最適です。歴史のあるホテルですが、シャワー付き浴槽、トイレなど水回りはしっかりと整備されています。朝のイングリッシュブレックファーストはシェフがしっかりと調理されたものでとてもおいしかったです。ホテルのスタッフはプライドを持ち明るく対応してくれました。閑静な木立に囲まれたホテルですが、すぐ前には浜辺やヨットハーバーがあり散歩するのに適しています。駐車場も広く、周辺のロッホへのドライブも快適です。グラスゴー市内は車で1時間足らずです。買い物は隣のビレッジが歩いて30分ほど車で行っても容易に無料で駐車できます。大きなスーパーや個人の店もあり鉄道駅もあり観光地として整備してきています。また、泊まりたいホテルです。」
