"I really used to like this hotel as its in a beautiful location. I won't go back unless they buck there ideas up, check in was 4pm, room not ready after driving for 5 hours, no bar open and it's miles away from Inveraray, 5pm given a room key and found out it hadn't been cleaned. Bar opened 5pm my husband got me a drink and manager or owner (he turned up about 16.50 ) said by the time we had the drink our alternative room would be ready. We were not the only ones waiting at least another 5 or 6...

There are a variety of different rooms, some in the main building others in adjacent buildings and some with spectacular views across the loch. "Staff in general were very helpful and friendly. Lovely location overlooking the loch. The cooked breakfast was very good. The spa was good, pool long enough to get a decent swim. Jacuzzi and steam room nice too. The only drawback was that the spa only has 4 cushioned loungers so many guests had nowhere to lounge and read their books on busy afternoons, and there was a bit of a scramble when a sunlounger became free. Adequate parking."
