"We waited at least 10 minutes for someone to show at the front desk. When he finally showed up, he did’nt even say sorry and neither say hello. He asked for the credit card and my driver licence, took the depot. We asked for some cue for restaurant around the hôtel, he said yes there are some! I had to ask him for name and direction otherwise, he would have not gave me any! At our departure at 6:15, no one showed up at the front desk for 15 minutes! We left the access card on the counter and left with the shuttle! At least, the shuttle driver was nice. The room was great. First, and last time at this hotel"

"I’d requested an early check in, but arrived only about 20 minutes before check in time. I was given a 2 queen room when I booked a king. When I called downstairs they told me it was because I’d “checked in early.” It would have been nice if the clerk had mentioned the substitution, because I’d have waited 15-20 minutes for a king. I also asked the clerk what the closest metro station with parking was and he said there wasn’t one. That I should take the hotel shuttle. That’s a lie because there’s a station with ample parking two miles away. The room itself was fine except for a very tired and pilled bedspread on one bed and a dirty robe in the bathroom. The toilet ran incessantly all night. This Westin isn’t as nice as it once was. It’s always been our go-to when flying in and out of Dulles. Might be time to make a change. "

"I stayed at this hotel for two nights and had a mixed experience. This was my first time staying somewhere that does not provide daily room cleaning, which was a bit inconvenient. After the first night, the trash bins were already full, the limited toilet paper provided had run out, and there weren’t enough towels for our stay. While the room initially appeared clean, there was a noticeable odor that made it less comfortable. On the positive side, the pool area was great and my kids really enjoyed it. Breakfast was decent and met expectations. Overall, the stay had some good aspects, but improvements in housekeeping and basic room amenities would make a big difference."
