Idyllic country house with pool and fantastic sea view

This stylishly renovated house with pool is quiet and offers a fantastic view of the sea and mountains. The house has two floors, beautifully decorated and airy, surrounded by spacious terraces and a typical Andalusian garden and many olive trees. The terraces are covered and the various seating areas invite quiet enjoyment of the countryside. It is 3 km to Frigiliana and 5 km to Nerja and the beach. Both bathrooms have been redesigned and now feature a Raindance shower. Even in winter the house is pleasantly comfortable and is ideal as a 'home from home'.

Beautiful, spacious property with fabulous views

Lovely traditional house set in the frigiliana hills with views to the coast. The house is beautifully furnished and comfortable. Good beds in both doubles, spacious ensuites to both. Plenty hot water served by bottled gas boiler. Well equipped kitchen with modern oven and hob, kettle, coffee maker etc. The lounge area has two huge sofas on which to lounge, with TV and DVD player . (It is worth noting that a VPN and linked device is required to access TV channels) We dont watch TV much when on holiday, so not a problem for us. We unfortunately stayed late October/early November during the terrible storms. The pool filtering system was affected by this so we were unable to enjoy a swim. But it didnt spoil our holiday. We were glad of the very effective pellet stove which warmed the rooms up nicely during the storms, with plenty of fuel supplied. So even in cooler months, the house is equipped to keep you cosy. We loved our stay in the peaceful location, so much so we are returning next year.

Highly Recommend

The house was beautiful, clean and spacious with everything we needed. The pool was convenient and clean. The property manager, Stig, was very helpful, even kindly helping us communicate in order to tow our car when we got a flat tire. We highly recommend this location.

Wonderful rustic and characterful place

The property is nicer than the photos! The place has real rustic character. Pool lovely, clean but no chlorine; all equipment needed; lots of space; beautiful well looked after garden. We were totally in love with it and would definitely come back! Only downside was lack of barriers for our toddler but no fault of anyones just nature of the property

A lovely house in a peaceful setting with a beautiful view

We had a great week at Casa Ubique. It's a fantastic house with lots of great outdoor spaces to relax both in and out of the sun. The pool is great and we spent a lot of time playing and swimming with our 6 year old in it. The house has everything we needed. Highlights were the pool, the views, terrace to eat outside, barbecue, good sized rooms, built in seating in the shade, close enough to get to Frigiliana by car in about 5 mins.

Alles wunderbar

Dieses Ferienhaus war einfach perfekt für unseren Familienurlaub! Die Lage ist unschlagbar, bietet absolute Ruhe und einen atemberaubenden Blick aufs Meer, den wir jeden Tag genossen haben. Der Pool war ein riesiger Hit bei den Kindern (und uns Erwachsenen!). Besonders hervorzuheben ist die herausragende Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin Martina und dem Verwalter Stig vor Ort – sie waren stets hilfsbereit und sorgten dafür, dass es uns an nichts fehlte. Es war der ideale Ort, um sich zu entspannen und wunderschöne Erinnerungen zu schaffen. Wir können es Familien, die eine erholsame Auszeit suchen, nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Paradiesisch

Wir haben die Osterferien hier verbracht. Tolles Haus, unkomplizierte Schlüsselübergabe, alles was man braucht ist vorhanden (inkl. Spül- und Waschmaschine). Terrasse und Pool sind himmlisch. Frigiliana ist niedlich, Nerja und die umliegenden Strände leicht zu erreichen. Supermärkte sind immer offen bis min. 21:30Uhr. Es gibt einen Pelletofen im Wohnzimmer für kühlere Tage. Hier wäre es gut, wenn es einen Kontakt gibt für die Nachbestellung, falls der Vorrat an Pellets aufgebraucht ist. Gerne wieder! Es war traumhaft!

Wunderschönes Haus mit einmaligem Ausblick!

Wir haben das Haus und die idyllische Ruhe jeden Tag genossen. Nach Ausflügen (Granada, Canyoning im Rio Verde, Kajak in Nerja und dem schönen Ort Frigiliana) haben wir uns immer gefreut in das herrliche Haus zurück zu kehren. Einziger Manko war das fehlende Mückengitter im „Durchgangszimmer“.

Fantastisch

Na een nauw kronkelig weggetje kom je op een prachtige plek, een heerlijk huis met een goed uitgeruste keuken. Verschillende zitjes om het huis zorgen ervoor dat je je even terug kan trekken. Het zwembad is groot genoeg. De bedden slapen prima. Al met al een aanrader!

Fabulous Villa

We loved our stay at Casa Ubique. The property is fabulous (the photos don’t do it justice), with lovely spaces outside in particular. The children (10 and 12) were thrilled to have their own floor up the spiral staircase, and slept really well throughout the holiday (not an insignificant matter!). The front terrace has great views to the sea and over the hills. The pool is a good size, and the children spent lots of time playing there. In terms of location, Frigiliana is within walking distance, provided you’re reasonably fit (it’s a 7.5k round trip). We did the walk quite a few times, and soon got used to it. It is also close enough to walk to el Acebuchal, which is well worth the visit for a great lunch. The property is located down a steep road - par for the course in the location, though it was a tough start to my cycle rides (not something the vast majority of guests are likely to care about!). Communication with Martina (owner) and Stig (manager) was great, which made for a completely stress free experience. Ver highly recommended (the children voted it to the top spot of Frigiliana villas, and we’ve been coming for 7 years), and we’re just hoping that Martina doesn’t sell to one of the big property companies buying up the villas in the area so that we can return (if they’ll have us!).

Fantastic view and house

We had a really relaxed 2 week holiday in this beautiful house equipped with everything we needed. Hope to go back there again to enjoy the amazing view and peaceful surroundings. Stunning location

We spent a week here relaxing by the pool, enjoying the peace and beautiful views. The villa had everything we needed. Frigiliana is only a short drive away and has numerous excellent restaurants. There is a large Lidl supermarket within a ten minute drive and more restaurants, shops and supermarket in Nerja, another 5.minutes. There is ample parking everywhere. We enjoyed everything about our stay and would definitely visit again.

Ruhig gelegenes Ferienhaus mit Pool

Wir haben nach einer Woche Rundreise durch Andalusien den Aufenthalt in diesem ruhig und etwas oberhalb von Frigiliana gelegenen Ferienaus sehr genossen. Der saubere und großzügige Pool bot während der heißen Tage eine willkommene Abkühlung. Das Haus hatte genug Platz, dass auch unsere Kinder sich jeweils einzeln zurückziehen konnten. Die Einrichtung erfüllte mit den vorhandenen Geräten und der Ausstattung alle unsere Bedürfnisse eines Ferienhauses. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war freundlich, klar und sehr unterstützend. Wir haben uns in diesem Haus sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit gern wiederkommen. Mit unserem Leihwagen waren wir mobil und konnten nahe Ziele wie den Strand von Nerja wie auch weiter entfernte Sehenswürdigkeiten wie die Alhambra in Granada ohne großen Zeitaufwand besuchen.

Ort der Erholung

Fernab des touristischen Küstentrubels kann man sich hier an der Sonne Spaniens erholen – und trotzdem liegen die Strände von Nerja nur 20 Autofahrminuten vor der Haustüre. Fragiliana ist zwar ein gefragtes Tagesausflugsziel. Abends aber erhält das Dorf seine Unschuld zurück. Gerne wieder.

Ein Kleinod in den Bergen

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Casa Ubique. Es war ruhig, ländlich einsam mit einem tollen Blick, super Wandermöglichkeiten und dem wunderschönen Pool. Das Wetter war uns gesonnen, sodass wir eigentlich nur zum Schlafen in den herrlich bequemen Betten im hübschen Haus waren. Ganz toll, wir kommen bestimmt noch mal wieder. Margrit & Familie

August 2019

We spent a week at casa ubique at the start of August 2019, we arrived late at night and when we woke the villa and view were wonderful. The pool was ideal for our 2 kids (8 &14) who had hours of enjoyment in it. The idyllic village of Frigilana is a 5-10 minute drive down the mountain side and you will find some great restaurants there. Overall we had a great time at Casa Ubique the only downsides being the road down to it and the lack of air con.....a few uncomfortable nights as it was too hot...albeit there was one fan for 3 bedroom areas.
