Utter Seclusion on 600 Feet of Waterfront , Free WiFi

Situated on 600 feet of both rocky and sandy beach, this contemporary home sits on one of San Juan Island's largest stretches of private waterfront, attracting deer, owls, fox, seals, otters and bald eagles. Take in the 180 degree view from Spieden Island to Mount Baker. You will welcome the amazing morning sunrises to spectacular sunsets from this uniquely situated home.
We supply crab pots, shrimp pots and dip nets which you can use right off the beach. Go down at night with a flashlight and the dip net. Shine the light into the water and the shrimp come to the surface. Some guests like to scuba dive off our property which is full of crab and scallop.
Except at very high tide, at the bottom of the wooden stairs, there is a cove to launch kayaks. This side of the Island is the safest for kayaking and almost always calm.
The open floor plan in this home has a spiral staircase to sleeping loft that sleeps 4. The bedroom has super-comfortable California King bed with views of the water. The casual dining right off the completely equipped kitchen and just steps from the outdoor deck. Wood stove in the living room will make this a pleasant stay in cooler months too!

Most Beautiful Stay on the Island

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this gorgeous cabin. We had complete privacy the entire time, & truly enjoyed the seclusion. Access to the water is only a short walk from the cabin, & I’d recommend checking it out. We hope to come back soon and stay here again.

Nice private getaway

My sister and I stayed 4 nights in late September. We enjoyed the water view and privacy. The night sky was beautiful on the clear nights and once we saw a sea lion move along the shore front.

Amazing property with stunning views of the waters off of San Juan island. Short drive to Friday Harbor and Roche harbor. Great place to relax!

Great views of the water. We watched orcas from the porch and "front yard". We got lucky with perfect weather and whale spotting.

Stunning Home and View!

This is such an amazing property with the most beautiful view from the back deck! My partner and I stayed here for a few days and it was just perfect for us and our dog! Theres a ton of space to walk and play outside, and its close to both Friday Harbor and Roche Harbor!

Beautiful views, relaxing stay

My family and I loved our time here. There's a gorgeous view out every window and plenty to explore outside. The place is right on the water and very secluded, but just a few minutes drive from town. My kids (9, 12, 17) all want to come back! Definitely recommend.

the perfect space to relax

Thank you to our hosts for letting us stay in their beautiful property. Close enough to Friday Harbor for quick grocery or lunch trips, but secluded enough to not worry about humans around you. We enjoyed the views, nature, and even saw Orcas right in front of the house. House was clean, and the property owners was very responsive and helpful. Great vacation!

Perfect WFH-Vacation

We came back to the island to enjoy a little off-season down time and mixed it as a WFH/vacation. The house was perfect for it and the Wi-Fi made it easy for us to both have zoom calls and such without some of the issues we’ve experienced at other times on the island. The house was in a perfect spot and the views were constant and amazing.

We arrived later than expected and once we opened the door, the girls were in awe. They thought it was amazing. My wife loved the view. I loved the tranquility. It felt like if I was going to retire on an island, this would be it.

Amazing views!

The property location was great! We were right in between Roche Harbor and Friday Harbor in a peaceful secluded location. We saw a bald eagle and some porpoise on the property. The only room for improvement was that the back door doesn’t lock and the shower head needs to be replaced. We went on a whale watching tour with Western Prince and saw a pod of orcas which was amazing.

The perfect oasis!

We had the most lovely time during our stay here! The house is private and has the most incredible view. We loved sitting on the deck and down by the outdoor fire pits watching boats come and go. We even saw an orca! The house was very clean and decorated so cute! The kitchen had everything you needed to cook in and cozying up to a nice fire at the end of the day was lovely. Shower had great water pressure, bed was comfy, and wifi connection was great. Our pup sure loved hanging out here too! Owner was very responsive, helpful, and kind. We can't wait to be back!!

Location, views, comfort!

What a great place for our 5 day stay on San Juan Island. The location was perfect, amazing views. Remote, quiet yet a close trip into town by car. The rental was just as described. Very clean, well stocked. Owners checked in often, lots of great info and tips for our stay. We rented a car from M &W, traveled all over the Island. We loved San Juan Brewery, the Roche Harbor Sculpture Garden and the Whale Museum. Saw rivers otters at the cove near house, also eagles and deer. Foxes at South Beach. Great time of year to visit.

Property is amazing. House and facilities could use a little TLC.

The view and property is exactly what we were looking for. Very peaceful. Enjoyed all the wildlife and outdoor amenities like the swing down by the water. The house itself could stand some work. The water from the well smells of sulfur which is quite off-putting and the bathroom sink does not drain very fast. Enjoyed the little path to the sandy beach, watching the seals play, and the amazing sunrise/sunsets from the deck. I would recommend checking out Roche Harbor, the English Camp and the trail up to Young Hill.

Absolute tranquility

This is a quaint little home off the beaten path but still close enough to Friday Harbor to run into town for dinner or shopping. However, 5 minutes on the back deck and you’ll never want to leave. Amazing views (sunrises are unreal), peace and quiet, and nature await you. We were not experienced enough to launch sea kayaks or crab rings from the rocky shore below, but enjoyed exploring the property anyway. The house could use a few upgrades/TLC, but it’s beautifully decorated and I would pay ten times as much for the view alone.

Comfortable, cozy, and affordable!

Wonderful secluded space, beautiful landscape, clean, comfortable and cozy. The only suggestion I have is it would have been nice to have two extra chairs for the dining table. There were only 4 and we didn’t find any folding chairs. Would have been nice if all 6 of us could have sat at the table together for meals/games. Otherwise, thank you for sharing your space, we had a wonderful time and would surely come again!

Perfect Honeymoon

We came here for our long overdue honeymoon. It was perfect. We both wanted someplace very simple and cold weather and we for sure got that. We were snowed in for 4 days out of our 7 but it was worth it all!! The house was so cute the view was unbelievable. We loved that it was a full house so we could cook the whole time we were gone. We cannot wait to stay here again. Charles and his wife were the perfect host. We had to call him a couple of times and he answered right away and helped us figure stuff out which had nothing to do with him or his home. Our life has been super busy and stressful so coming out to the island was perfect. We came from Texas and it was worth every second we were here.

Wonderful stay at a serene location

We enjoyed every moment. On arrival Michelle gave us lots of great tips about restaurants etc in the area and made us feel very welcome!The property is beautiful and quiet and the views are gorgeous out over the channel. We used the staircase on the Northside to get down to the water and it was a bit tricky but worth the climb. The dogs loved it!The kitchen had everything we needed plus more, even an airfryer and a keurig coffee pod machine. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom had a beautiful view out over the channel too. We will be back!
