The highlight of our stay was meeting the proprietor Farhad, who is an accomplished pianist (plays the grand piano and a harpsichord for guests most nights) and a superb chef. Breakfast was excellent. The rooms are comfortable and well furnished and the location is great, walking distance to the center of Friday Harbor. Loved our stay.

Wow, I cannot say enough about my wife's and my stay, and it's rare for me to write a review (good or bad) for any property. The host is clearly a student of human behavior and accommodated our needs in unexpected, and most pleasing ways. Breakfast was delightfully tasty and home-cooked by the host, and his recommendations for local restaurants were impeccable. Of course the destination (Friday Harbor) is a no-brainer, but our accommodations were the icing on the cake. My wife and I will definitely stay again when (not if) we find ourselves on the island again!

We really enjoyed everything about Farhads beautiful place. Our room was very comfortable, the grounds were fun to explore. The garden provided the flowers in our room and part of our morning meals. Our private piano concert in the evening added a real touch of class to our 25th wedding anniversary get away! Loved this place and heartily recommend it! Bob and Heather.

Fabulous experience! Highly recommend. The room was clean and well-equipped with everything. The owner and staff were top-notch. We even had an hour long classical concert on the owner's 1910 Steinway Concert Grand Piano and his harpsichord located in the living room... Mozart, Bach, and much more. So relaxing! The breakfast both mornings was garden to table fresh and unique recipes that were delicious. The grounds included lots of flowers, fruit trees, vegetable garden, chicken coops for fresh eggs, etc. Plenty of parking. Very hospitable in every way!

This place is class on every level…from the room cleanliness, to fresh baked cookies in the evening, to the delicious breakfast, to the informative host. But what sets it above all others is the evening’s piano event which should not be missed. We had a 3 night stay and we hope to return.
