The Cottage on Cedar Street is a cozy wood-sided house in a beach town (near the beach!). A small home loaded with coastal charm. A dwelling meant exclusively for guests (that's you!). Cozy comfort is an essential feature. Open floor plan, functions very efficiently; tis bright, cozy and welcoming! Every detail has been meticulously planned with you, our guest, in mind. The interior of the cottage was completely refurbished in 2022 and 2023, while the exterior was painted a gorgeous light blue with a touch of lavender in a nod to our lavender fields on the island.

* Huge walk-in tiled shower with rain shower head + handheld shower system
* Eco-friendly organic bath products: Ginger Lily Farms Botanicals body wash, shampoo, and conditioner
* All-natural bamboo toilet and tissue paper, individually wrapped toothbrushes, cotton rounds, and cotton swabs; biodegradable makeup remover wipes; organic body lotion; organic feminine products
* NOTE: products such as benzoyl peroxide, one of the most common ingredients in acne cleansers/gels/creams, bleach our colored towels (leaving orange blotches that cannot be removed). Guests are financially responsible for replacement cost of bath linens due to stained towels, wash cloths, etc.

Laundry
* Laundry = full-size washer + dryer located on first floor between bedrooms
* Eco-friendly laundry products (NO bleach please)

Upstairs, upper level
* 20-foot vaulted ceilings in living room/dining room/kitchen

NOTE: We love animals, and we get that guests want to include their fur babies in their vacation plans. If you intend to include pets while visiting the island, please select a pet-friendly property that is appropriate for your needs. To ensure an allergen-free environment for all guests, we enforce a strict policy prohibiting pets. If evidence of an unauthorized animal is discovered, a $500 fee will be charged to guests. We appreciate your cooperation.

Reflect. Native American Tribes and First Nations of Canada have lived in and stewarded the San Juan Islands as part of their ancestral territory since time immemorial. Coast Salish people in the Islands tended and harvested shellfish, salmon, crab, and other species from the Sea, camas in the prairies, berries along streams and in forests, and other flora and fauna for food and traditional uses. These ancestral lands and waters are still utilized today, and are protected under inherent, ancestral, and tribal treaty rights.
