This was our second time staying here, and we absolutely love it! The location is perfect—it’s so close to the beach that you don’t even need a golf cart. Jim always makes the check-in and check-out process seamless and is readily available if you need anything during your stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back again!

We had a fabulous stay at The Buccaneer! The house is absolutely beautiful. It was exceptionally clean, tastefully decorated, and well equipped with anything you could need for your beach vacation. The large, covered deck has great seating areas to enjoy the view. Any questions were quickly answered by the host. We will most certainly book this house for our yearly trips from now on.

An amazing getaway in a perfect location

Beautifully decorated, clean and inviting beach house in a great location. Steps to the beach and has an amazing wrap around deck to enjoy the views.

Our family can't stop talking about how much we enjoyed staying at this home. We loved the quiet neighborhood where we were steps from the gradual, clean beach. Being so handy, we went multiple times each day to enjoy the warm Gulf water. We appreciated the huge covered deck with several seating areas and a fun hammock. The large dining table, well-stocked kitchen, lots of comfy seating, ceiling fans, and spacious bedrooms were perfect for our family. The floor plan really made sense. We appreciated little things like supplied beach chairs and box fans. The outdoor shower and multiple hoses with nozzles were fabulous for washing off the sand after beach time.Jim was very attentive to our needs. In fact, when we mentioned that the washing machine was not working correctly, a new one was delivered and installed the next day!The location was fabulous as we drove in to explore Galveston one day, and went to the Brazoria Wildlife Refuge another morning, both of which were handy.This will be the first place we think of when planning our next family beach vacation.Thanks Jim for the wonderful stay!

Perfect family getaway rental!

Beautiful home steps from the beach! The owner communicated perfectly and responded quickly to any questions we had. He welcomed us to check in early and stay late!The house smelled amazing and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We will definitely be staying at this home again!

It was incredibly easy to just slide in and start our vacation hassle free. It’s as if we just got home from being away. Everything that is necessary was available. The only small thing was the lock in the front door. We had trouble with it getting the key in there every time we locked it or unlocked it. Other than that, it was great. They had so many things available for us to enjoy and not have to worry about going and buying things as soon as we got there. We were able to go mid through the week and get stuff to replenish. It was nice having beach chairs, and beach towels available. Everything worked just perfectly. The location was perfect. It was just steps away from the beach line. We enjoyed the other people around us as well. There were some cars that made their way onto the beach from the opposite end. But it was never a struggle to find a good spot on the beach. During the weekdays, it was much less. The weekends naturally we saw more people. You would definitely choose this spot again.

Perfect stay

The house is perfect for a family or a group of friends. It is beautifully set up and doesn’t feel worn from the steady stream of renters. It is super clean, convenient and stocked. We would definitely rent again.

Family Vacation

The house was exactly as captured in the photos and proximity to the beach was perfect. If we ever visit the Gulf again, we would definitely stay again at this property. The owner was very responsive to all inquiries and very accommodating. Definitely a 5 Star property.

Fabulous stay again!

This house is the gem of Treasure Island. The perfect view of the beach and ocean in the sitting area on the side porch. We loved having our coffee there every morning. Plenty of space and everything we needed for Fantastic stay. Thank you Jim!

Great Ocean Views

House was exceptionally clean. Great location and the covered patio was nice to relax on with a great view of the ocean. Host was very responsive during our stay. Overall a great house, only downside was mattress’s but wouldn’t stop us from staying here again!

Beautiful vacation home.

Beautiful views, clean beach, quiet neighborhood, gorgeous house, all the amenities you need to cook. All eight of us got to eat together. Very spacious patio with furniture to seat and listen to the ocean. Best vacation ever just to get away! Great communication with the host. Great place to book!

Great location and house

This house is in the perfect location. Near a quiet beach and with access to a boat ramp on the bay side. The house feels bigger than the square footage and the large deck adds a lot of space to hang out. We will definitely return in the future.

Lovely Beachhouse!

This is a very nice house, which was very clean and large. The deck was very pleasant to sit on and listen to the waves. Now this house is several houses from the actual beachfront, but it has a very nice view and like I said, hearing the waves roll in was a plus. It is a little pricey, but well worth the money spent for the week we stay.

Fantastic Beach House

We had a 10/10 experience. Host was very attentive to the details and everyone in our family relaxed and enjoyed their stay. Beach view is lovely and very easy to access. Extremely clean, spacious, and well appointed. Definitely recommend!!

Excellent Property

This house has everything you could need! All the extras in the kitchen for cooking, totally open in the kitchen/living area allows for everyone to gather, tv's, games, convenient to the beach, enormous deck with plenty of room, friendly neighbors, clean neighborhood....Excellent communication with the management.... we had an amazing time and already thinking of booking again in the spring!
