"Very clean, had all we needed for the weekend. Host was quick to respond. Sofa and mattress somewhat uncomfortable, hence the 4 stars. Shower was great! Newly remodeled with fresh paint. Quiet and plenty of room for two people."

"My husband booked a last minute staycation for a solo getaway for me, and I had a nice stay overall. The condo is clean, cozy, and in a great location, literally just across the street from the beach. The ocean view was lovely, and parking was easy, especially in the off season. It felt like a great spot for the price.The owners were quick to respond and easy to communicate with, which I really appreciated. They were also kind enough to allow a slightly early check in and checkout when possible, and were quick to offer troubleshooting and solutions to any issues that came up.A few things to note that wouldn’t deter me from booking again, but may be helpful to keep in mind. The bed wasn’t as comfortable as I anticipated, so it didn’t quite have that fully relaxing, sink-into-it vacation feel. Like many condos, you can hear some movement from the unit above at times. It really comes down to the luck of the draw with neighbors, which is no reflection on the property or the owners.Overall, a good option if you’re looking for something simple and close to the north end of Carolina Beach. As a solo traveler without kiddos looking for a quiet getaway, it wasn’t quite as restful as I’d hoped, but it could be a great fit depending on what kind of stay you’re looking for."

"Clean, well-stocked with every utensil and pots and pans in the kitchen, toiletries and cleaning supplies, plenty of towels, and bed and couch and the outdoor sofa on the deck were comfy. Owner was responsive. Only a block from beach so great place to bring your dog to walk! Great place for our one-month stay!! "

"For me, this house delivered better than expected. It was magazine-beautiful and everything was obviously new and high quality inside and out. It seemed like no corners were cut in the recent renovation. The fire pit & hot tub were even better than I hoped. The hot tub was clean and had its regular service while we were there, which made me feel confident. The outdoor furniture was high quality and plentiful. I hosted several couples and it was a great fit for that kind of gathering. There is only one public gathering area inside, but it didn't bother us because we all wanted to hang out together and there are so many outside gathering options too. Karaoke machine was a surprise highlight! The wi-fi was excellent for working remotely. Be aware, the stairs are steep. If you have young children it could be uncomfortable, along with the fire pit being hot glass, and the rails being wire. The wire rails were really beautiful to us and made for AMAZING views from the decks, just be prepared to keep a watchful eye on little ones at all times.The owner's communication was good. We needed more gas tanks for the grill & fire pit. They were delivered within an hour of my message. There were a few minor issues (there simply always are in a rental) but what you want is an owner who is responsive with a good, collaborative attitude. Overall this is a 5 star property. Everyone agreed we would enjoy coming back again. "

"The house has a wooden beach access that was unusable due to lack of maintenance and no notification was offered ahead of time. Also the master bath shower didn’t drain and it’s a known issue because Drain-O could be found in every bathroom. Very poor lease management, unfortunate for the owners and renters"
