This cozy cottage is the perfect retreat for travelers! Amenities of the cottage include a full kitchen with a Keurig coffee machine and wine bar, a full bath with walk-in shower, king beds, smart TV, and a private patio with ample outdoor seating, plus an arbor swing! Located in the heart of Fredericksburg, the peace and quiet afforded to guests at this property are unmatched. Spend the day on the town, then return to the chalet in the evening and enjoy the full kitchen and wine bar, perfect for a glass (or two!) in the spacious backyard. Quiet, charming, and convenient, all the necessities for a romantic getaway.

PLEASE NOTE: The owner lives onsite. There are no shared spaces.

Due to the Hill Country location of our rentals, you may encounter wildlife (Snakes, Deer, Raccoons, Squirrels, Possum, Birds (including Hawks), ETC). Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night, and supervise your children at all times while they are outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control services on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee pests or bugs will not be visible. This includes but is not limited to: ants, snakes, spiders, scorpions, beetles/roaches/water-bugs, mice, or flies.

- Quiet Time is from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am, per City Ordinance
- If we are called due to complaints violating Quiet Time:
1st Offense will result in a $250 fine.
2nd Offense will result in a $500 fine.
If police are called, you are responsible for any fines or fees issued with the citation or warning. If police are called there will be a $500 fine, even if no citation is issued.

Cozy cottage made our stay enjoyable!
Cottage was perfect for our Mother-Daughter trip! Cottage is behind manager's house inside a fence in a great neighborhood so we felt totally safe. There were benches and swings outside so we could enjoy the weather and the cottage was stocked with everything we would need if we forgot anything. Very clean! We will definitely stay here again! Thanks for an enjoyable stay!

Beautiful little Chalet! Very clean and feels like home away from home! The owner is very nice and her hospitality is above and beyond. We would recommend our family and friends to stay here. We would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay here at the Artist Chalet. We actually ran into the owner at checkout and she told us a bit about the property and place. It was clean and perfect for our stay. We will definitely be back.

A piece of Heaven!
We had a wonderful stay. The pictures were perfect match to the property. Outside was beautiful,quiet and peaceful. It was very close to the main street and all the shops. Mrs. Dempsey the owner was a wonderful women. She lived on the property with her sweet dog Kiki. Would recommend everyone to come visit. We will surely be back.

Absolutely best place to stay !
The property is beautiful, well kept, and very secure. The neighborhood is very nice. It’s located about a mile from downtown ~ perfect. The Chalet is so cute, cozy and very definitely designed by an artist !! I wish I could move into it!! The host is a wonderful happy lady. She was very welcoming and answered any questions we had.
