Stonebridge Unit 1 is part of a charming 3 unit guest property. It is only a 5 minute walk to the heart of Main street. It is a romantic cottage perfect for couples looking for that getaway in Texas wine country. Inside enjoy a soaking tub with fireplace, king bed, living area and kitchenette. Outside enjoy the large shared patio with gas fire pit and shared hot tub; perfect for enjoying wine and conversation under the stars. This property is truly one of the best locations in town!
The space
This rental is Unit 1/2 of a private two unit cottage only 2 blocks to Main Street. The romantic cottage has an open floor plan with king bed, living area with couch, fireplace, tv and kitchenette. The bathroom boasts a large soaking tub facing a romantic fireplace and also a large walk in shower. Outside you will find a shared large gas fire pit and patio perfect for watching the sunset and enjoying a glass of wine. There is also a shared hot tub that is ideal for relaxing after a fun day in Fredericksburg.

Our stay was so relaxing. I booked the property for the hot tub, location to Main Street and jetted tub. After a day of walking, beer and wine tasting, it was awesome to return to the cottage. It had everything we needed! The hot tub with a glass of wine was heaven.

Host was most accommodating and responded to text and emails promptly. Fireplace was a little wonky. Great location! Highly recommend if just staying a few days and want to be within walking distance of everything in town.

Stayed in Stonebridge 1 and it was phenomenal. A great get-away for my wife and I, and well worth the money. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the main strip of downtown Fredericksburg. We ended up driving, but very easily could’ve walked to a LOT of the places we wanted to see. The owner and I had great communication, and he accommodated a couple requests for us. We definitely recommend to stay here!

The unit is fine, not great, but probably the right value for what we paid. It could use some finessing, e.g., there are at least 3 different light temperatures; the fixture above the vanity is really harsh. (There is a random door panel leaning in a corner.)Liked the high ceiling and room volume.

Great Spot!

Great little vacation spot so close to Main Street. My husband and I have some physical limitations that keep us from walking to Main Street but it was only a couple of blocks away and super easy to get to. Great King size bed and fantastic site. Clean and quiet. We will definitely be back!!

Great Location

We had a great stay at Stonebridge Unit One in Fredericksburg! The location is hard to beat—just two blocks from Main Street, which made it easy to walk to shops and restaurants while still enjoying a peaceful, quiet setting. The cabin has a charming rustic feel, which added to the experience.One of the highlights was the large jetted hot tub inside the unit—such a relaxing feature and a great way to unwind. We didn’t end up using the outdoor hot tub or courtyard area, but they looked like nice options for a future visit. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep.Our only minor wish was that the fireplace had been functional—it would’ve been cozy to enjoy it from the hot tub. The WiFi was also lagged the whole time, but honestly, neither issue took away from our enjoyment of the stay. Overall, a good place to stay in Fredericksburg!

Room experience

Our stay was great. Would like to have instructions on fire place and ceiling fan didn’t work and tub light didn’t work. Other then that our time was spent more in town.

Week Day Getaway

Beautiful room, amazingly large hot tub and wonderful location. Bed extremely comfortable. Had difficulty logging into WiFi (finally one device, 2nd never connected). We’re retired (so not loud) and had folks next door knock on wall like we were loud 3 times. Only negative.

Not as shown in pictures!

We arrived to think we would see what the pictures portrayed. NOT SO! The patio was much smaller, fireplace was crumbling. Don't expect to see what you see in the pictures!! Room was just okay. Not as close to main street of shopping as portrayed. Internet STUNK! We couldn't get TV working because they had ROKU and internet kept coming and going At the price of the room, we shouldn't have to even worry one minute when it came to watching TV. We left a day early because we wanted to watch a particular football game and we couldn't access it on the TV. It was expensive to start with and it was a complete rip-off for what you got for your money. You can stay in a very nice hotel for what this cost! And, they would have TV and internet without issues!!

Fantastic location but some other issues

This is the perfect location for us - 2 blocks from main street so that the walk is short but you also get away from the noise at night. There were a few issues with the room though - the fireplace didn't work, the tv had no service (Roku would continually reboot), and the wifi was very very slow and would lose connection so much as to make it unusable. You could also hear the neighbors talking VERY clearly so not super private. I would stay again but it would be nice to know these things going in.
