The cabin was wonderful, just what we wanted. It was far enough out of the city for us to enjoy the quiet and close enough in that we could easily drive back and forth for meals and shopping. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the birds and deer. The accommodations were comfortable. Everything that we needed was provided, including binoculars and a bird guide. We’d certainly like to stay there again when we return to Fredericksburg.

First timers in Fredericksburg and glad we picked this cabin. It’s cozy and has everything you need plus it’s only 12 mins to town. And 15 mins from the horse riding excursion we booked. We loved the back porch for the sunset views and peacefulness.

Clean, Almost everything you need for the kitchen & bathroom. Also, first aid kit, flashlight & binoculars for watching deer at deer feeder, Bird feeder filled. Games, Fall decorations, chairs on deck & patio with fire pit. Had a minor issue and hosts were quick to resolve. 2nd time to stay here. Can’t wait to stay again.

Our 4th stay at this little cozy cabin. It has everything we need. Super clean and comfortable. The backyard is perfect for our toy poodle. Enjoy watching the sunrise and sunset on the patio. We will be back!

The location is great. It is short distance from Main street but still far enough to have quiet, peaceful surroundings. Very relaxing. I enjoyed the seeing all the different birds and wild life from the back patio during sunset and sunrise.

We had a good time at the cabin. We liked that it felt private, and the location was a short drive from Fredericksburg. The views of the sunrise/sunset were just beautiful. Very peaceful, we enjoyed the wildlife (birds/deer/rabbit) you can see from the deck. The view of the stars at night was amazing, excellent choice if you want to get away from the city and enjoy nature.

A great place to stay while seeing the Hill Country.

We come up to the hill country twice a year to escape the fireworks where we live. So we are in Fredericksburg for the first of the year and the Fourth of July. Sure, there are a few fireworks but nothing compared to where I live. This cabin is well built and very quiet. It’s the best one we stayed at yet. This is our second stay at this cabin and I’m quite sure that our next visit to Fredericksburg will include a stay at Rocky Creek cabin. Also, cell phone signal and Wi-Fi are very good.

Excellent!!

My wife and I stayed here for our 32nd wedding anniversary and this place did not disappoint. The cabin is well thought out, the host is very attentive. Definitely will be suggesting this place to my friends and family.

Quite and Peaceful

I really enjoyed my stay. It was exactly what I was looking for, peace and quiet. The location was fantastic. I hadn't seen a sky full of stars in a long time. It was fantastic!

Tranquil

Cozy, clean, well-equipped. Very peaceful setting. Good for bird watching and birdsong. Saw several deer. They came right up to the yard one evening. Good place to get away from it all but close enough to Fredericksburg to be convenient.

Anniversary Getaway

Great location close enough to town to get to stuff easily but far enough away to feel out in the hill country. The cabin back patio is awesome, peaceful, open views, lots of bird watching with the feeder out there. We saw a bobcat, several deer, heard what sounded like a wolf, saw some really cool stars in the big Texas sky and for sure saw some UFOs. There is plenty of kitchen stuff to make breakfast or dinner, you can choose to eat out in town or stay in and cook, it's ideal for just going with the flow. I used the pellet smoker, it was nice to have that option.Relaxing getaway, we really enjoyed it.

Excellent rental

We were very impressed. Our stay was great loved it had a back yard for my dog. The views of hills and getting to wake and see the deer. At night we watched lots of different birds and rabbits. I would highly recommend this rental. Host is great .

Fantastic!

The space was clean, well stocked with supplies and amenities, and had a comfortable bed and furniture. It was just as advertised! It’s in a secluded location while still being only 10 minutes away from Fredricksburg. The view was beautiful, we had a great time relaxing by the fire pit and stargazing. Check in and check out was simple too.My partner and I had a great time and really enjoyed our stay. The owner was great with communication and was very welcoming. We would absolutely stay here again!
