"Pros: Experiencing the quiet area, of course the vineyards, but also the pub in the village made the total experience. We spend 5 days to explore the culture and nature beauties. Regional food is great, the landscape is supurb and the wine tastings are lovely. Coming home every day and enjpying the hot tub made the days perfect. Maria (the host) is lovely and very helpful. Cons: There is nothing I can mention not worth the stay"

"Andre and Susanna have created a stay that is unique and special. The house is a gorgeous restoration—easily one of the most beautiful spaces we've stayed in. The hospitality was warm, generous, and sincere. We were treated to a taste of Moncorvo’s traditional regional culture. Perfect location for exploring the Coa Valley rock art and the Douro wine region. 10/10!"Andre and Susanna have created a stay that is unique and special. Quinta das Amendoeiras

10/10 Excellent

"Words are hard to describe how wonderful this gem of a place is! The hosts make you feel like family and the people we met made it one of the best memories I have experienced 💛"

Casa da Avó - Turismo de Habitação

10/10 Excellent

"A delightful historical villa, which has held its old charm with the decor and furnishings. A very homely feel with a goid continental style breakfast. Coffee machine provided both caffeine teddy and decaffeinated coffee. There was a very good selection of teas. In the heart of the small town; parking was on street and felt safe, even for the motorcycles."

HI Alijo - Pousada de Juventude - Hostel

8/10 Good

"Everything was great except the shower was a little annoying since you had to press every 45 seconds or so because it would turn off automatically. The breakfast wasn’t much of a breakfast ham and cheese, bread and cereal. Other than that the staff was friendly it was clean and it was in a cute little village."
