"The apartment stunk of cigarettes, a non smoking property absolutely reeking of smoke. The fridge had half bottles of other guests drinks. There was a gas pipe sticking up in the middle of the bedroom. The toilet roll was the last few sheets of an old roll. The towel wasn’t fit to dry a wet dog. Disgusting. "DON’T be fooled by the “Hotel Shuttle” - no prices up - language of “shuttle” sounds like it might be free or on a par with getting a taxi. We looked at a UBER which came up as €12 and instead trusted the shuttle as we had 2 tired children. We got ripped off for €31 euros each way for a 5 minute journey. The hotel staff seem to be in on the evident scam. I asked why the prices aren’t made very clear and all of a sudden there appeared a price board from behind the desk. There were 3 families who would have all been paying that price! I never get scammed and this is the first time. I am genuinely and absolutely fuming by the audacity of the hotel! We were staying in the building opposite the reception and had to walk past 2 men drinking and smoking. It felt so unsafe. Leering men commenting as we walked past with children, clearly assuming all we spoke was English! The room was huge and the main bed very comfortable and spacious. The put up bed however was about to fall down! So rickety we were worried it would collapse. I wouldn’t stay again on principle of the shuttle fare. The disgusting misogyny was the icing on the cake. No more notes. Wouldn’t recommend."

"The hotel has been newly refurbished to a high standard. It is conveniently located close to major city transport links and local shops, and just a few stops from the city centre and everything Brussels has to offer. For those who enjoy walking, the city is very pedestrian‑friendly, and you can walk safely and comfortably from the hotel to almost anywhere in town."
