The screened porch was surprisingly large for the size of the cottage. We hope to return. Great hiking and waterfalls and vistas so close to the cottage. We really enjoyed our stay」

「This home was wonderful!. Fully stocked - from the kitchen to the laundry room and bathrooms- from cookware and dishes ,to cleaning products and soaps ,linens and towels. We loved the upper and lower back porches to view the relaxing river. The young people enjoyed the game room and tubing on the river. The beds slept good . We came away very refreshed and hated to leave. Would love to go back again!」

「This house has an entrancing view. We were captivated by the evening and morning plays of light and shadows across the meadows below and the mountains above. We watched in the evening until the last glimmer of light and got up to watch the dawn's first rays of dawn define the edges of mountain tops. The early morning mist cloaking the meadows below and threading through the hills was a bonus. The nature show was worth the price of admission.」

「We loved it, the huge deck and view, the living spaces, the ping pong table and the quiet. The road up was fun, you know you're in the mountains. We had a power outage while there and Evan was right there to check it out. Nice folks to deal with, real pros. To sum it up, if you want a quiet, lovely mountain getaway, this is close to perfect. Suggest you try to arrive during the daylight hours, you'll see what I mean, when you park it. Enjoy! 」

「This was our 4th or 5th time we have stayed at Serenity. That probably tells you how highly I recommend, and what I think about the Holt's properties. Sitting on the deck and listening to wind through the trees is serenity indeed. Walking the property and feeding cows Daisy and Tulip in the cool mountain air is a very relaxing experience. 「Beautiful property with lots of amenities. Easily accommodated our group with lots of beds/bathrooms for a crowd of non-couples focused on participating in a 3 day on water training. At one point the power went out due to a downed tree. Great communication with the owner and quick service from Duke Power solved the problem rapidly without even denting our schedule.」
