Our second stay

We loved this house and location so much last year, we had to come back for a second stay. The house is just a short drive from Bethany Beach, Fenwick Island beaches and other attractions. Our kids loved having the pool as an option as well! We hope to visit again.

Great location, quiet neighborhood. Some wear and tear too visible on the house

Location is perfect, 1stChoice (property management company) communicated well before the rental, and accommodated a very late check-in. Minor aspects noticed: Some wear and tear is visible on the property, with little effort to hide: one broken blind, the welcome binder was broken, one of the blankets was stained (either rust or food/tomato?), a cool bottle opener not working. - The owner who seems to live nearby had his car parked in one of our two parking spaces, without checking with us whether we needed it or not. We happened to arrive in one car and were fine with only one spot, but we found the situation a bit weird. - The parking space under the house is a bit messy, including a few old tools and items randomly positioned. Overall, a good rental and we'd stay there again.

Perfect location for a family beach trip!

Beech Nuts was everything we needed to make a memorable family beach vacation. We had everything we needed and the cottage was so nice. It's close to everything, great location. We'd definitely stay again.

What a great place. We were there during the week of Hurricane Erin and this was a cozy and comfortable place to spend a few windy rainy days. A spacious open plan on a wooded lot with a quick drive to Fenwick state park beach when the sun came out!

Literally perfect for a small family!

It is an ideal place for a relaxing stay at Bethany. The home is situated perfectly for a small family and the owner really goes the extra mile from the well-stocked kitchen to the comfortable and clean furniture, to the beachy furnishings. We really felt like we were at our very own beach house. Close to town and state park beaches in a cool little neighborhood. We will be back!

We had a wonderful time. It's a great neighborhood for families, the house was quiet and clean. The community pool is a very short walk, easy for the kids. The neighbors in the community were all friendly, and the property owner even came out to introduce himself and offered to help if we needed anything during our stay. Thanks!

Great little house

This is a great little house. It has what you need to stay a while. It is a short drive to the beach. The kids enjoyed going to the pool as well. The queen bed is comfortable. The kids slept well in their room. It is a nice quiet little community away from the business near the beach. I want a house near the beach like this for myself.

Lovely place, nicely decorated, many cute Knick knacks, well stocked. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch and outdoor seating area. It is further from the beach than we like but if you are going to drive anyway, great!

Great spot for one family

It can be hard to find a smaller rental for one family but this rental fits the bill. Our family enjoyed riding our bicycles into town and also appreciated all the great amenities in this rental.

Quiet community and short drive to the beach

We enjoyed our stay! The home is the perfect size for a family of 4. The neighborhood was quiet and ideal for morning bike rides. The pool was a few footsteps away and the kids enjoyed the pool over the beach! The beach was further than I had thought. I envisioned us biking there. There are some sections of road where there is no shoulder and so biking with little ones would not have been safe. We were close to OCMD, so on a rainy night, the Sun and Surf movie theatre was a nice option. Overall, we had a great experience and would recommend a stay in Clearwater Villages.

This property was wonderful - the perfect size for a family of 4. The community was beautiful and quiet. We biked into Bethany easily, swam in the pool, biked and skateboarded the neighborhood. We had everything we needed! The owner stopped by and introduced himself - lucky us!
