「The property was cold and the device to set the temperature seemed to be out of battery. It was somewhat hard to find, and when we entered there was a vacuum cleaner sitting in the hallway. Parking can be hard to find, and the owners' emails seemed to be automatic and not responsive.」

「The staff and the breakfast were amazing however the rooms have no shampoo (body wash is not going to do it for me), no lotion, no tissues and no phone. No phone makes it extremely difficult for overseas visitors to contact reception. Even the charming lady on reception who confirmed that these amenities were not offered in the hotel states that they were a budget hotel ‘but maybe not - we are quite expensive’. 」

「We did a Spa Day and Dinner Bed & Breakfast. Lovely little Spa with great facilities. Hotel is situated in lovely countryside surroundings. We had a Mud Rasul as an extra and this was amazing and relaxing. Food was excellent and a great menu with local produce. Overall we had a fantastic relaxing time. Would definitely return again.」

I rarely leave reviews up to this point but was left feeling like this 'apartment' is a room in a multi occupancy house and it felt a bit.....what's the right word......DHSS ish. I didn't use the communal kitchen as someone in there was, well a bit weird, looking disturbed. I just think I was looking for cheap and cheerful. It was cheap. 」

「Property was clean. Not as stated entire property. Shared facilities. Bathroom via the kitchen on ground floor had child. Did not feel we could relax here as thought we had entire apartment. Outside next to little shop. Traffic island outside meant couldnt park outside and single line. Area around property made us feel unsafe- wasnt the best.」

「I booked two rooms as a last minute stay. Immediately on bookimg I had two phone calls that I missed as I was in my way to the accommodation. I then received a text message to tell me they could not accommodate my booking and to cancel. I was adviced by Expedia not to cancel as this would be against the cancellation policy - I am still trying to get a refund and will probably have to esculate the process」

「The property was alright itself. host needs to set correct checkin times. when I booked it said 11am but when we arrived host said 3pm. He did let us in, but the initial back and fkward was not something I really needed: especially after a long trip. When it comes to communication I was lacking. I didn't have any check in information sent before arrivak, and when I tried sending him a message through hotels.com I still haven't had a reply till date. Checkout information was also missing so had...

「The shower was full of mold, the room stank of mold, the kettle was broken, the heater was hanging off the wall, the light above the sink was in bits, we didn’t feel safe. 」
