"The room was nice. Quite large actually. Very close to the harbor and lake. It was a quick stay for us so we did not stay for breakfast. We left early. Everything seemed nice and the location and price were great. Maybe it was just me, but was there a fresh coat of paint everywhere? Kind of looked nice."

"When I arrived, I was a little worried as it is an older hotel and just didn't have the curb appeal of most hotels. I was pleasantly surprised. It is an older hotel that appears to be in transition and trying to be updated. Don't get me wrong this is no 4 or 5 star hotel but it was clean, in a great location and the front desk staff was kind and courteous. For the price, this hotel was perfect. If you need a clean, cheap place to lay your head for the night, I recommend this hotel. If you are in the need for all the frills of a beautifully updated, with all the amenities hotel- this is not for you."

"The place was absolutely gorgeous, clean, warm, beautifully decorated. The weather was a bit unpredictable but the storms were nice to watch from the living room wall of windows by the fireplace. The waves crashing against shore was a calming lullaby. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked with necessities and anything we needed could be attained from the local DG. Local parks made for a nice walk with scenic spots for memory pics. Incredible stay! Looking forward to returning someday - hopefully soon."
