"Pros: cabins were recently renovated, the pool and restaurant were both good Cons: cabin was not clean. Every surface dusty, dead bugs in corners, mirror wasn’t cleaned, floor had dirt and black hairs all over it (we both don’t have black hair or pets with us so it wasn’t from us.) The bed and towels were clean which I was thankful for but everything else could have used some more attention. "

"The pictures of the house do not capture the full beauty of it, the natural light and layout of the home is amazing! The space is wonderfully utilized and it is much bigger than from what you see as you pull up the driveway. I fell in love with the natural light, high ceilings, a beautiful modern rustic theme throughout. Carrie is a phenomenal host and is there for any question or suggestion for the area! The Long Branch and 51st State are new favorites.Even with neighbors near by, you feel like you are tucked away in your own neck of the woods , the peace and quiet speaks volumes if you are going for a quiet getaway. Plenty of places to see in the area or a quiet night in with the books and games available. The hot tub is amazing as well after a day walking trails or just to continue a quiet night at home. Looking forward to returning in the near future for another for a quiet getaway and even with another family. "

"Breakfast was the bare minimum. The only hot option was biscuits and gravy and the biscuits where rock hard. The hot tub was out of order. The picture for the pool and hot tub online must have been taken about 5-10 years ago and does not represent the current state it is in. The pictures of the rooms also look much nicer than what they are, hotel is very patched together/ older and could use a quick paint job in alot of locations.The room and hotel were on the dirtier side. The floor in our room wasn't swept, there was hair in the whirl pool and shower and there was garbage and items left in the cupboards and drawers form the last person. The bed/ bedding and towels were clean though."

"We had a lovely stay over New Year's. The host, Cullen was exceptional and responded to any of our questions immediately. The house had plenty of room for everyone and we appreciated that the kitchen had some basic spices and ingredients. There was ample room to park several cars and the circular drive was great for getting in and out. Our family lives on the lake so the location was perfect for us. Great views of the lake and our dog loved running through the snow around the cottage and down to the shore. Would be just as lovely in summer!"
