"Loved Sandy Toes house, super easy to check in and everything was spotless and easy to find. Kitchen fully stocked with quality pots and pans to make a nice dinner at home, we loved that the only dining table was outside so it forced us to enjoy dining outside, seems like such a QLD thing to do! Easy walk to beach and Beach Shack for pizza maybe 3 houses down. Appreciated the thoughtful touches for the kids with toys and plastic cups and plates. Heaps of washing liquid and detergents provided. We had a few questions during our stay and needed a top up of 1 cleaning items and Joanna and Kristie were right on it. Thanks so much!!"

"The property is beautiful and well kept. All the common areas were quite nice. Beautiful waterfall and koi pond. The rooms are dated and in need of some refreshing. The carpets are dirty and there isn't much space in the room to put your things, just a small table. The breakfast is basic but has a little of everything. It's the same every day. Which could be a good thing or bad thing based on what you like. The price seemed expensive for what you get but everything in port Douglas is expensive."

"I lived the house and the layout of the rooms suited our family situation well. Room were cool and bedding was comfortable. Kitchen worked well and had everything we needed. The pool area was peaceful and tranquil. The people in the surrounding units that shared the pool were quiet and courteous. I would recommend this unit and I would definitely come again"

"Our stay at Tranquil Sands was absolutely wonderful! My sisters and I spent a week here, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect place for our getaway. The home is spacious, beautifully presented, and incredibly well equipped. Every detail has been thought of, and it had everything we could possibly need to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. We especially loved that there was plenty of room for us to spend quality time together, while also having enough space to enjoy some quiet time when we wanted it. The house was spotless, welcoming, and felt like a true home away from home. It was the ideal base for making special memories together, and we all agreed we would happily stay here again. A huge thank you to the host for providing such an exceptional property. We would highly recommend Tranquil Sands to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and beautifully appointed place to stay. We can’t wait to come back!"

"We enjoyed our stay here, it was a great base whilst we explored the local area.There was a lot we loved about the house-plus the location was excellent and it was very handy to have the restaurant nextdoor. The rooms were all of a good size and the kitchen well equipped. The bathroom was sparkly clean and new. We liked to sit on the bedroom balcony with a coffee first thing in the morning, very peaceful.The only reason this didn’t get 5 stars was that the furniture and lighting were just functional- not nice or homely, just basic mis matched furniture to do the job. The sofa was for 2 and the other 2 seats were tub chairs and not comfy for an evening relaxing after a busy day. Just a small point but it did make a difference."
