This was a great vacation! My husband and I, our 11 year old daughter and her 10 year old friend, and our dog Oliver stayed for a week. My biggest joy was how CLEAN it was! I usually struggle staying anywhere other than my home and I didn’t struggle at all here. The owners take such good care of the property. We spent so much time on their pier catching crabs and fishing. The girls had a blast! The area is very private with nice flat roads for easy bike rides. The putt putt golf course is an easy relaxing activity that you don’t have to go elsewhere and pay to do. The view is beautiful and the landscaping is spectacular! The owners are so caring and accommodating. We walked in to find a welcome basket specifically for our dog with toys and treats in it. So cute! Our dog is very neurotic and was petrified to walk on the floors upstairs. Could have been the color, the shine, who knows. When I told Karla about it just to share a funny story, she understood his fears completely and brought over rug runners for us to use which solved the whole problem. I hesitated when I read that we would be sharing the property with the owners and the other rental cottage, but it wasn’t an issue at all. It was like staying at a 5 star resort! They provide so many extras like laundry detergent, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, beach towels, bikes, even a pump for the bike tires! Whether you’re looking for a relaxing get away for two, or a neat family vacation, you can’t go wrong here!
