This was such a cute and comfy house for my family to stay in while we visited for a family reunion. Everything was very clean and we really enjoyed the games in the garage. Thanks so much for the hospitality!
Perfect place for family to gather from across the country for the eclipse!
Landmark Park is a great asset nearby.
House is aged, but has character like original staircase
Overall, the property was in a great location, easy access to main street. The house was clean, lots of space and excellent amenities. Be prepared for a little train noise every once in a while but we enjoyed the stay and would recommend it if you’re in the area.
A group of my friends and I stayed at this house recently. It was the perfect location to walk to the downtown Fortville area. The house had everything we needed. The location was also within 15 min of multiple grocery stores and other retail. The property manager kept in touch with us and answered any questions we had very quickly. It was a great place and we would stay there again.
My husband and I rented the home so our three kids/significant others/grandchild had plenty of room to come and go. Plenty of space for all. Home has been around a very long time and had plenty of squeaks-but that is part of its charm. Fortville’s main street has wonderful dining and shops and it was wonderful to be able to walk there. Would recommend this property for family gatherings for sure.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Our host Angi was terrific. The location was walking distance to some great restaurants. The house was clean and comfy. We enjoyed watching all the bunnies from the back porch and will absolutely stay here on our next visit.
Roomy. Nice property. Loved the greeting from the property manager and felt that help would be available if needed, but it was not. Key box was new to us, but we figured it out.

Perfect stay!
This house was EXACTLY what we needed for our stay in the Fortville area. It was clean and nicely decorated. Very homey. We had the perfect amount of beds and space to enjoy meals and games with family. The host was very sweet and communication was very easy. The house was also VERY well equipped with kitchen items for cooking, baking and eating. It was a very enjoyable and relaxing time! We will definitely stay here again! The entire process, from descriptions of the home, booking our stay, getting into the house, the stay and the departure and communication with the host was super simple! I highly recommend!

Our visit was for a family wedding. The location was very convenient to most of the areas we traveled to. We did have some minor issues when we first got to the house, but the hostess, Angi, was very helpful, professional and was able to get those issues resolved quickly. The house is located very close to the railroad tracks and trains do come through often, but it was tolerable. The house is older, dark inside and the stairs are VERY creaky. Additionally some of the doors were quite "sticky" so they were loud in the middle of the night if someone got up. In general the house could use some maintenance.Honestly, the house had everything we needed and was affordable. The beds were comfortable, the water was nice and hot and water pressure was fantastic, the kitchen was well-equipped with a variety of coffee pots, dishes, utensils, etc. There were also a wide array of games, books and DVDs which was very nice to see as we have stayed in other rentals that did not have anything like that. The downtown area has some fun little shops and restaurants. The closest grocery store is only a few miles away.Overall, we were pleased with our stay.
We had 10 people staying for 2 nights and there was plenty of room for all of us! My brothers and I drove from Ohio to meet my mom in the middle from Illinois. We prepared a huge Thanksgiving feast and although we did bring additional dishes, utensils and pans, we had plenty of those things all provided. The town of Fortville was very quaint and cute! We wish the weather had been a little bit better so we could explore more, but maybe next time! Although loud, my nephew did enjoy the train nearby! There was a small water issue that did arise while we were there, but one of the owners got back with me very quickly! I would definitely stay again! Thank you for hosting us!!
Location was great. Short distance to family members and activities going on. I would say the house needs some updating (mainly the kitchen) and the bedrooms would benefit with more drawer space. But overall the house fit our needs and was comfy.
I’ve never rented a whole house for church camp before and it was wonderful! So Nice to take a weeks worth of Clean clothes back home instead of the usual week of dirty ones lol. Very nice, comfy, Clean and quiet neighborhood, safe to walk the dog, nice to grill out and eat on the back porch - and dog friendly besides! Thank you!!
We had a very nice weekend. Our daughter graduated from Anderson university and hotels were crazy over priced. This house was nicely priced and worked great for all of our family that was coming for the ceremony. Everyone’s description of the house was “it feels very homey”. Nothing elaborate but felt like home.
Friends and I were staying, with dogs, for a seminar. The house is nice and we felt welcomed by Angi. The neighbor is super cute, we felt comfortable walking outside at night, we just wish the weather was warmer so we could enjoy the porch.
We really enjoyed our stay and had more than enough room for 5 adults + 2 toddlers. They LOVED hearing and watching the trains! We really loved the close proximity to Main St and the shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay again!
Our family of 10 were in town for a wedding and we found this house to be ideal for our needs. It was comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed meals on the backyard patio and playing games in the yard. We would stay here again.

Spacious and Comfortable
Our family of 10 stayed for a wedding weekend. It was very spacious and comfortable for everyone. We enjoyed the back patio and yard too. Bring your own soap and shampoo.
Great visit to Fortville. We were in town visiting some friends who live in Indy and celebrating our anniversary. We stayed there with my 3 year old, my husband, and my in-laws. It was a nice little house. The trains were a little loud, but nothing a sound machine couldn't fix
