The pool was awful. So small we couldn’t even really go in it. No chair space. Spent our time at beach o my and considered pain to swim at the margaritaville pool. You also have to pay for chairs which I think it’s ridiculous when you have a resort fee.

Everything was good.One thing I didn’t like is you cannot sit at the pool in your lawn chair and have a cocktail. Also the music away from the bar area was too loud.

Great location and view. Food wasnt bad upstairs and several retaurant options near. Room was clean and well maintained but bath towels very small and old and bed wasnt very comfortable and also small.

We arrived at dinner time, so we checked in and left our luggage in the car and went directly to the Italian restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious lasagna and watched a stunning sunset. Our server, Charlie, was friendly and attentive and the food was excellent. The portions were so generous that we shared one order and still had nearly half left, which we brought to the room and heated up the next night, supplemented with an excellent salad and bread. Our server the 2nd night, Kelly, was equally helpful and friendly. The next morning we enjoyed a hearty breakfast on the rooftop, overlooking the ocean seated in gliders. For lunch, I had 2 soft tacos and a soft drink for $10. Very reasonable. All meals were affordable. The staff throughout the hotel were helpful and welcoming. Our room was spacious and had a lovely view and balcony facing the ocean. While we appreciated the many positive features of this hotel, we were surprised that there was no foot washing station to rinse off the sand before entering the building. This meant unnecessary tracking of sand into the hallways, rooms, etc. This not only necessitated extra work for staff, but also can't be good for the plumbing to wash all that sand down the shower. It was spring break and busy and a little noisier than we would have preferred, but the hurricane-proofed sliding doors really muted the sounds to a tolerable level. And, they stopped before it was too late at night. We enjoyed our stay.

All rooms overlook the beach unless you booked a room that was across the street. Our room was a junior studio with a mini kitchen. It was very nice and had plenty of room!! One thing I would add to the room is a swiffer or broom to clean up the sand especially if you don’t want/need room service every day!

Would go back, great location and amenities! Not the most well maintained hotel, it's older but has a lot of positives that outweigh the negatives. Pool was very warm and the view from our room was 10/10! Restaurant food was sub par but the street food was delicious, especially the taco place!

Property was very nice. Older hotel but clearly renovated after hurricane. Plenty of options for food and drink. Overall, the prices were fair and we would have enjoyed our stay much more if we’d been able to sleep. My understanding is that there was an emergency repair needed so between 1:00am and 5:00am all we heard was banging and drilling. Then we got out of bed to no water. Front desk literally looked at my husband who went to ask about the water and was ignored. Women looked at him and turned her back while laughing and talking on the phone. It could have been a guest so a little grace is given. However, when we checked out and were asked about our stay I mentioned the noise and lack of sleep. Same women said, we had emergency repair. There was no apology, nothing. While I understand things happen, empathy goes a long way and front desk staff should be trained appropriately to manage these situations. Would I stay again? Yes because otherwise it was nice. Just disappointed in front desk staff.

An old school Florida experience. Not too many of those left. It’s right on the beach, the rooms with balconies are great. We were just planning to stay for one night as we live in St Petersburg and was just down visiting some friends but it was such great weather we decided to stay another night.

Nice place, right on the beach - nothing fancy but staff was helpful. Hot dogs, tacos, drinks available on the walkway adjoining the beach. Short walk to several restaurants. If you are looking for a no frills beach vacation, this property is a good find.

We enjoyed the location, the room and having a balcony. It was a little rowdier clientele then we are used to lol and there is obviously some work still being done. There was work being done in the room next to us so there was noise during the day and then partiers loud and rowdy at 2 am but overall we had a great trip and we appreciated all the food options that were right on the property.

The room was clean and nicely appointed. The view was spectacular. The food at the two restaurants we tried was excellent.

The ocean view was beautiful it was perfect. The room was nice. Housekeeping needs to improve requested service three days in a row and never got any front desk was accommodating with sending up, clean towels, etc.. Bed was horrible. One of the most rude individuals I ever met in my life was the bartender at one of the bars. He really needs to go. On the other hand, Restaurants are outstanding food really good. I know they are recovering from the hurricane, but I believe they have a way to go yet. Little things around the property all add up for the price I would expect more amenities.

I was impressed with the staff and how they were always busy cleaning and they took pride in the property as well as the wildlife. The beach was perfect and easily accessed from the hotel. Lots of options for food and frink right on the property. Shopping and other restaurants were within walking distance.
