I do not normally leave reviews, but after this stay, my entire family agreed it was warranted. I booked three rooms for four adults. At check in, we were placed on separate floors. This was not requested and was the clerk’s decision. I asked for it to be changed and was denied. Despite being on three different floors, all rooms experienced the same issues, showing these were systemic problems. I booked Sea Club Resort through Expedia for two nights prior to a cruise because of the location and price. Unfortunately, the condition and operation of the property fell well below expectations. The biggest issue was the room key system. If a room was left unoccupied, the key cards would stop working, requiring a return to the front desk every time unless someone stayed inside the room. This affected all three rooms and other guests as well. At checkout, we were told placing key cards near a phone could cause them to stop working, which suggests an outdated access system. Housekeeping was inconsistent, with towels removed and not replaced, and room conditions were poor, including dirty sheets, a loose bathroom faucet, a towel stuffed into a damaged vent, and heavy grime throughout. While staff were polite, the property is poorly maintained, and I will not return.
