Oliver, the owner, was very sweet, and the communication was wonderful. Check-in was easy, the location was perfect for what we wanted (family was a short walk away, in the Las Olas River House), and the house is very cute on the exterior. However, the interior is, at best, "sparse." There are no comforters or spreads on the beds, just sheets and velour blankets, there are no side tables or lights next to the beds, slats are broken in the blinds, none of the outlets in the bathrooms work (necessitating a VERY long extension cord plugged in in the bedroom and snaked into the bathroom in order to use a curing iron or hairdryer), the back door has a deadbolt, but it wasn't engaged (and one needed a key to lock it), the upstairs balcony railing was unsafe, spare sheets are balled up and shoved in a closet under the stairs and in one of the bedroom closets, and while there is amazing original art in the home, it was all on the floor, leaning against the walls. In addition, there are no ceiling fans, and the air conditioner is not really sufficient (and there is a note stating that you can't lower the temperature without breaking the unit, and incurring a fee). I think that this COULD be a very cute property, but it's not quite there yet.
