「The house has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (1 shower), a really well equipped kitchen, a nice dining room and living room. Very convenient for a large family. Drive to Great Sand Dunes is about 30 minutes. Ft. Garland is tiny so for anything beyond very basic groceries you will want to drive to Alamosa. The host was very responsive and everything was clean and as advertised. I would recommend it!」

「This beautiful home delivered every it promised and more. We have a large family (18 of us) and often use VRBOs for our vacations. This property is, by far, the most accurately depicted home we have stayed in. 「The creek by far is the best asset for the property. Needs cleaning supplies dish cloths, needs a way to get rid of trash, had to take trash home as to not attract bears. Master bed needs a low profile box spring but was comfortable once you got in. Ceiling fan in master needs dusted. Need wash cloths in showers. The grill was nice need a grill brush to clean it when finished using it. Rustic but that’s ok.」

「Comfortable mountain duplex but needed to be thoroughly cleaned. A few things needed to be repaired. The kitchen had what we needed to prepare meals. We would stay there again though since it’s near the lakes.」

「Great views of the mountains! Perfect for a couple who want to be off the grid. Things I wish I would have known ahead of time: no WiFi on property (which makes tv unusable unless you have cell service up there - we did not), no washer/dryer, no dishwasher, gas fireplace doesn’t work, and minimal indoor lighting. 「This was a quaint little cabin. It is pretty small but had all the amenities, even some bear spray. There are 4 beds for 8 people and one bathroom. Not much of a front or back porch. The master bed was memory foam and felt like a soap dish. Some of the windows do not have coverings. It is at least a 25 minute drive to the highway. Then an hour in either direction for a town. So it is isolated. Overall it was an ok stay.」

「The cabin is lovely and relaxing. It is isolated enough to enjoy the solitude of the land around you without being far from a neighbor. The location was perfect for us who had family staying at different venues from a hotel in Trinidad to camper camping at the creek a couple of miles up the road. Of the different cabin type places to stay - this one is exceptionally lovely. We would definitely stay again.」
