"The room was clean. Check in staff was very friendly. No pool. I was disappointed in breakfast. Waffles, cereal, breads and biscuits & gravy. No protein other than the sausage in the gravy. I'd like eggs as I can't eat pork. I know that is not an anomaly. There was some fruit and yogurts. And there is no elevator."

"While it looks very unassuming from the outside, the hotel was a very pleasant stay. Room was clean, breakfast was nice, and the staff was pleasant. Very pleased with the experience."

I am an IHG guy. However, the Holiday Inn express had no vacancies, (even though I am diamond elite.) so I had to find another place.
There was a nice looking hotel across the street, called Brookstone, I went there and found it to be a hidden gem.
This hotel and its staff goes above, and beyond the extra mile for me, as I was in need of a charging place for a Tesla. accommodated me and upgraded my room for free.
Highly recommended! Star and Chris were both fantastic! Will definitely stay there...

I return to Iowa every 2-3 years for reunions and this motel is my go to place to stay. The motel is always clean and the staff professional and friendly. The hot breakfast is above average for motels in this price range. The pool and hot tub are equipped with handicap lift chairs.

The room was very nice, some baseboards needed cleaning but otherwise it was good. I liked having the safe in the room, that was a big plus. Otherwise, nice sized room, bed was pretty comfortable and over-all no issues.

Our room was fantastic, in suite bathroom. Family room & breakfast area was nicely set up, plenty of space. We had taken the time to walk the property, very relaxing, peaceful & tranquil. On our way out on Sunday we were able to purchase some vegetables and farm fresh eggs. I wish I new about this B&B years ago when my daughter was a freshman at ISU, we would have stayed her every time. The family, Peter & Denise were wonderful to speak with. This is our new "go to" place, we will comeback...
