I was hoping to be a little closer to a beach area. I think that the hotel is perfect for holding business conventions. We really enjoyed the restaurant and the room. Very spacious and plenty of shelving for storage.

I had great hopes, but I was very disappointed. The breakfast is ok, but it's the same thing every day. The room is old and in desperate need of updating and repair. The towels are old and raggedy. The bedsheets are rough, and the pillows are flat. There's no place to just sit and relax, other than the tiny corner by the tiny pool that I dared not use. The location is relatively near the center of the city, but the walk there is treacherous. There's an overpriced restaurant that opens only at 7:00 PM, and down the road there's another overpriced restaurant. There's nothing else near the hotel, nothing.

Pretty hotel, slightly away from the city centre which was perfect for lovely walks and vistas. The staff was friendly and accommodating (e.g. baggage hold, directions). The room was comfortable and peaceful even during a busy weekend. The outdoor infinity pool had a magnificent view over the bay. We were happy with our stay.

The hotel was okay but not wow for the price. I paid $230 CAD. I must say the buffet was okay but not wow. Otherwise you can walk to the main area takes around 20 minutes.
