"Check in was very smooth and the staff was courteous. The room look clean at first but I did find a few human hairs behind the bathroom door. The bed was sufficient for the cost of the room and I would stay there again."

"Wonderful place to get away for the city and take in sunsets, stars and wildlife. Some people think the only thing west of Dallas is mesquite, cedar and prickly pear. True, there is plenty of that (most of which came from overgrazing 100 years ago), but West Texas has a rugged, arid beauty that you either get, or you don't. The people here whose roots pre-date horizontal drilling and wind turbines from China are closely connected to the land, and my experience has been that they are great people. Speaking of wind, there is plenty of it out there - and instead of it just being a gracious thing on a hot August afternoon in the shade, it is now being bought and sold by Wall Street. There are few places left in the Permian Basin and Big Country where wind farms aren't staining the landscape with their visual pollution. The stunning and historical vistas that our ancestors enjoyed when they settled this part of the state will be gone before long. The owners have done a great job situating their cabin on a rise that emphases the surrounding views but minimizes the impact of the multi-gig wind farm in the distant southwest up on Goat Mountain. Get out and enjoy this place while you can."

"Judy did a great job on this house very cute and comfortable. Has everything in it that you need for a nice stay. Quiet and peaceful bed was very comfortable. Shower has plenty of water pressure and the hot tub was a nice addition. Thanks for being a great host. I will come again."

"House was very clean, the location is quite remote and you definitely need a vehicle with some ground clearance or you won't make it up the driveway which is about .7 miles after you get through the gate. For what we needed the property worked well, if I was here on a pleasure trip, the property would be great."
