Despite Forks' great location for accessing the natural beauty of the western Olympic Peninsula, it doesn't seem to have a ton of options for lodging and dining. We feel very lucky to have identified and this convenient, cozy and practical little place in town-tucked on a quiet little street near athletic fields (not used during our stay) with open views to the surrounding hills. It is exactly as advertised- simple, comfortable, very clean, & all promised amenities including things important to us: laundry (soap thoughtfully provided) and fast internet. Beds were comfy and shampoo/soap provided. It is situated immediately adjacent to another home (owners?) which isn't totally obvious from the photos, but did not affect/detract in any way from our stay. Loved sitting on the front porch to read and relax-wished we used the fire pit area but it was too sunny (imagine that!). We found the location very convenient to access La Push/Mora and Ozette & Hoh areas. Decent grocery in town. The space was very comfortable, suited our needs and is well kept/maintained. Hosts responded in timely fashion to inquiries. What more can you ask?
