"The apartment was all you could ask for... The air conditioning worked amazingly well which was great because it was very hot and humid. Anna & her husband provided us with some food and drink too which was very kind of them. The balconies and rooftop offered amazing views, especially for the holiday fireworks. This was my third stay in Forio - my family's first time in Ischia - and we would absolutely return to Anna's in the future."

"We loved Eremo Montevergine. Giuseppe was very quick to respond to all of my inquiries prior to booking/coming. When we arrived in Ischia, Rita was our contact to get the keys. "We stayed at this hotel for our honeymoon, and although the hotel itself was beautiful and the sunsets were amazing, we would not recommend it for a honeymoon or anniversary trip. Choose somewhere else where they will make an effort to make your stay feel a little more special. The breakfast selection was quite mediocre, and we ended up skipping breakfast during the last two days of our stay. However, the breakfast staff were very kind and polite, so the service was good. It's a good hotel for families, as it's close to the beach and has several pools. The bar staff were also very nice, helpful, and polite. We opted not to have dinner at the hotel because we tried the lunch twice and were quite disappointed. The menu selection was very limited, and the staff were, unfortunately, not very friendly. Our room also had an issue with the air conditioning, which was incredibly noisy. We notified the reception staff, but the problem was never addressed. In the end, we had to turn it off at night so we could sleep. On top of that, our room was filled with ants and tiny spiders. My husband forgot his shirt at the hotel and was told by the reception staff that there was no lost-and-found service. Fortunately, the very kind and helpful beach staff assisted us, and the shirt was indeed located in the lost and found. The beach staff were excellent throughout our stay. We had a wonderful time in Ischia, but we wish we had chosen a better hotel for our stay."

"My child and I stayed here for a weekend trip. We found the hotel charming; the staff was helpful, the breakfast was good and the swimming pools are fantastic. Although we had a nice visit and all went well, I had to be overly mindful of my child as the majority of the guests are in the geriatric class. Just something to keep in mind if you have small children."
