「This a fantastic house, especially if you have kids in your group!! We had eight adults and seven kids, ranging from 2 to 12 years old. Our stay was in August. We used both canoes, the kayak, and the paddle board every day! We also used several of the bicycles, some of the beach toys, and the beach umbrella. The foosball table was in constant use. 「Perfect location near downtown Placerville and not far from the start of the Apple Hill region. Everything was outstanding! Owners were very nice and Sandra, the Owner’s sister checked on us to ensure our stay was going well. It’s a nice, quiet, quaint cottage and met our needs very well. We enjoyed the private deck next to the fountain and pond with some wine one evening. Highly recommend! 」

「What a special place the owners have created! We were a crowd of 11 for four nights and this property was perfect. 「Location is beautiful (the stars are amazing!) and the house is absolutely wonderful. It has everything you need and the vibe is very relaxing and welcoming. We made use of the projector for movie nights which was super fun. One heads up - the master bedroom does not have any curtains, so I recommend eye masks for sleeping! Otherwise, 10/10 excellent and would totally come back! 」

「The cabin was perfectly located for our weekend snowmobiling adventure with HighLine Adventures at Kingvale. Close enough so that those who tired early could walk back to the cabin which is cozy, warm and nicely appointed. It was so nice that any time we were not on the snow, we spent back at the cabin rather than driving into Truckee. Lots of space for playing games, cooking, and telling tales. 「Beautiful location, surrounded by trees, and private. Canal was a bonus. Nice rooms with thick carpet. Comfortable beds. Right off the freeway, but good insulation blocks sound when inside. We loved the flickering "fairy" lights on the trees at night!Owners friendly and helpful.
