"We had a wonderful time in Viksdalen with our extended family. We had everything that we needed or could want in the house. We loved the separate lakeside cabin but wished that we had discovered it sooner, rather than at then end of the holiday. If we could have changed anything it would be that the wonderful view wasn`t obscured by the owners roofline. It is very peaceful here and if you like solitude then this place has it in covered."

"Wir haben eine sehr schöne Woche in dieser Hütte nahe Balestrand verbracht. Die Begrüßung durch unsere Gastgeberin war herzlich und unkompliziert. Die Hütte ist komfortabel und modern eingerichtet. Unsere Kinder (6 und 9) haben in einem der beiden liebevoll eingerichteten Zimmer im Obergeschoss geschlafen - dies ist wie beschrieben nur durch eine Außentreppe erreichbar. "Leuke huisje, mooie omgeving, prachtig uitzicht. Schitterende zonsopgangen gezien vanaf het balkon. Schoon huisje, alles aanwezig. Prachtige wandelingen gemaakt. Vooral vlak achter het huisje, maar je moet wel eerst een weg van 7 km de berg op rijden. Overal heb je de auto voor nodig. Balestrand is een klein dorpje met 2 kleine supermarktjes."

"Nice peaceful place, helpful staff. The apartment could do with a bit more equipment in the kitchen, for example more cutlery & there were only 3 bowls in a 4 person apartment. Useful to have washing machine in the apartment. There are a few bikes you can borrow but they could do with a bit of TLC, suitable for a short ride to town."
