「We needed a place close to Stoke for an event we were all attending with friends. This place was perfect for the 6 of us that stayed there. The hours is very large, with a large kitchen and all amenities. We did not use the TV, so unsure of that function and options. It was nice to have 2 full bathrooms. There is a large fenced back yard where kids could play.」

「Room was filthy. Freezing cold all night even with windows shut, no radiator in room. Drug bags down the side of the bed. Stains on the duvet. Damp towel left on floor. Uncooked pizza on windowsill from last occupant so room clearly wasn’t cleaned. Entire room smelt of cigarettes. Avoid」

「部屋は広くて清潔で、快適なベッドのおかげで素晴らしい滞在ができました。 冷蔵庫もあり、空調設備も整っていました。 駅からは少し距離があります。周辺には何もありませんが、大型スーパーTesco Extraが近くにあります。また、町の中心へは徒歩圏内です。 3泊しましたが、2泊目の午後に一度ホテルに戻ると部屋の掃除やベッドメイキングは終わっていたけれど、下に置いておいたタオルがそのままで交換されていませんでした。 近くにハウスキーパーの方が居たので伝えましたが、なかなか来てくれませんでした。それでも1時間ほど後にようやく来てくれたので、新しいタオルを使うことができました。 朝食などレストランは利用していません。 レセプションスタッフは丁寧な対応でした。」

「Excellent communication from host & easy check in with key lock. Room was spacious & comfortable for our family of 4. The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. Not a problem for the adults, but the kids weren’t comfortable. 」

「Not easy to find,since no street-number supplied until asked for. Expected en-suite - bathroom shared (between 2 rooms) and quite a distance from the bedroom. Access arrangements (and supervision) sketchy - via key-safe on telephoning (never-seen) owner. However, the bed was very comfortable and the location quiet.」

「We were double booked into the house we had paid for but we were taken to a different one around the corner. For the price we paid it was adequate and clean. Sharing a bathroom with 3 lads who had also been double booked into the same house was not too much of a problem and having a fully functioning clean kitchen helped to catering costs reasonable. 」

I rarely leave reviews up to this point but was left feeling like this 'apartment' is a room in a multi occupancy house and it felt a bit.....what's the right word......DHSS ish. I didn't use the communal kitchen as someone in there was, well a bit weird, looking disturbed. I just think I was looking for cheap and cheerful. It was cheap. 」

「I made a late booking, the hosts were very accommodating throughout the duration of my stay yet. The room gave nice independence. Good WiFi and had everything that I needed. Service was the min」

「The evening receptionist was lovely, friendly and very helpful. The bed was comfortable, the en suite was clean, there was a portable heater when it got a little cold at night. On the first night of my stay the single room I was given did not have a kettle so the receptionist changed it for a room with a kettle at no extra charge to me.」

「パーキング付きなのでこのホテルに決めましたが、地元の人に「なぜこのホテルに？」と言われました。それでも改装になり部屋自体は綺麗でしたが、接着剤の匂いが気になりました。また備え付けのオイルヒーターが全く効かず、小さなオイルヒーターがベッドの脇にひとつ。バスルームも寒くて…。夜パブで飲んで帰ると正面玄関の鍵がかけられ、危うく閉め出されるところでした。」

「The staff and the breakfast were amazing however the rooms have no shampoo (body wash is not going to do it for me), no lotion, no tissues and no phone. No phone makes it extremely difficult for overseas visitors to contact reception. Even the charming lady on reception who confirmed that these amenities were not offered in the hotel states that they were a budget hotel ‘but maybe not - we are quite expensive’. 」
