We had a great time staying here for a long weekend, very quiet and peaceful area. Don was a great host, let us check in a few hours early. Would definitely book again!
Clean, comfortable, everything works, cozy, lovely location.
We stayed here with our 11 year-old daughter during the holidays while visiting nearby family.
This is a charming cabin. Perfect for our stay.
I reserved the log cabin to host my family. It was a perfect location for everyone. We enjoyed the fire pit, kayaks and just chilling out enjoying the views. The host was great to work with and responsive.
Beautiful amenities with many extras. Place to relax and enjoy lake activities or simply sit by the fire and enjoy watching water and wildlife. Peaceful and every comfort made available inside and out. Don, our host, was great!
The cabin was updated, clean, comfortable, well furnished, great vibe! The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. Calm and comfortable setting, great view of the lake.
Property was just as pictured and advertised. The lake was gorgeous. Quiet area. Cabin had everything we needed. Would definitely look up this property again if it were available next summer.
The cabin was gorgeous, clean and well-appointed. Everything we needed was provided, and the host was communicative and accommodating. Five stars through and through.
We LOVED our time at this cute cabin. Beautiful lake view, and birds of every kind to watch every morning. We enjoyed the fire pit out by the water as well. There was a nice supply of kids toys, books, and games. Thank you!
Was looking for a cozy winter cabin an easy drive from Chicago and this checked all the boxes. Very safe, quiet area just steps from the lake and hardly ever heard a passing car.
Very clean and comfortable for the 2 of us. Easy access and fast response from hosts. Beautiful property. We stayed 4 nights and hope to be able to book again as we have family in Fond du Lac and go there a few times a year. Not too far from restaurants, gas, or shopping. Many things to do in the area for visitors. Lake was clean and quiet. Love this place!
Relaxing 4 days on the lake. Well maintained, clean, and supplied property. Comfortable beds. Took canoe out on the lake. Hosts were quick to respond to any questions.
My family loved our stay at this cabin! The hosts have added so many thoughtful extras to their property. Beach towels, firewood, lots of comfortable places to relax, games, a rain shower, coffee and condiments in the fridge, lots of hooks in the bathroom (always needed) and so much more! The property felt very safe as well. The lake is beautiful!! And we loved using the double kayak. We hope to rent this property again and will recommend it to others!
Beautiful 2-bedroom log cabin on a quiet lake. Only an hour from Milwaukee. Perfect for an unplugged getaway to recharge our batteries. Enjoyed reading by the gas fireplace, walking in the neighborhood, making & eating our meals (kitchen had everything we needed). Wished we had sunshine and warmer temps so we could have canoed on the lake. Look forward to coming back!
My husband and I are originally from Fond du Lac but now live in Montana. Staying with family during visits can be a little overwhelming for all involved at times, so we were delighted to find this cute little cabin on Lake DeNeveu. We booked on short notice during one of the coldest weeks ever, but the owners were still able to have it ready for us. Very cozy. Beautiful views. Fully stocked. Close to everything in Fond du Lac. We have a return visit booked for the summer and we’re looking forward to enjoying the lake more during that visit.
My boyfriend and I decided to rent this property for LDW. The home was very clean and modern, but still had a nice cabin feel. The location was perfect. We felt secluded, but still close to town. We used the kayaks every day and loved how clean and low traffic the lake was. There is a fire pit on property and board games. Also, if you’re not into kayak or canoeing, there are chairs at the end of the pier to enjoy the water. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay in Fond Du Lac look no further than this place. Don and his wife Beth were very kind and we loved our weekend getaway.
A friend and I stayed 3 nights this weekend. The cottage is darling. So nicely decorated. Kitchen was better equipped than mine at home!.. Everything was very clean. The view to the lake and the patio are great! I kayaked and my friend fished. The bed was super comfortable and I slept so well. Great area for hiking and sight seeing. We went to an Octoberfest and a concer at a winery.
Don and Beth was so kind and helpful. Our stay was so beautiful and peace ful on the lake. The cabin was so clean and everything we needed. to enjoy our stay. . They made our Anniversary one to always remember.. we will .love to come back. again. bob and Clara . Thank you Don and Beth.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here for the EAA AirVenture at Oshkosh. It was the perfect accommodations for us airplane nerds and had a wonderful time. We did not spend much time at the cabin due to our time at the show, but it would also be a great place to just get away and relax. The lake property is awesome - small, but still large enough to get out and have some fun. The cabin is in great condition, kitchen is well equipped, plenty of hot water for all the guests to shower, plenty of towels and sheets. I really can't think of anything negative to say. So I won't! Great place, and I hope to have a chance to return. Thanks Don!

Nice place but….
I will start off by saying the cabin was really clean, and had everything and more! It was very stocked up with items. I enjoyed the location too. However, I traveled from Michigan to visit my brother and his kids and my kids really missed their cousins so I told my brother to just come to the cabin and let the kids swim so they could see each other. It was my fault for not letting the owners know and having more people there hanging out that first day. I take full responsibility for that. They were there a few hours and left. I received an email from the homeowner telling me we were being recorded, so they had proof of how many people I had there. I no longer felt safe anymore. They said the neighbors were recording us and sending it to them. I don’t know what is true and how they really got us on video but it doesn’t matter. The point is we were being watched and recorded and I felt violated. The thing is, we never would have known if we kept it at the 5 people only and that’s scary to think about.
