A true standout among beach properties! Very clean and well appointed, with amazing views! The family history is well documented and adds to the experience. The cabin is so well done that even if it has to rain you won’t mind staying inside!

We loved the location, access to the beach, and very comfortable accommodations. Our two small dogs were overjoyed with the yard and wide open beach to explore. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Everything was wonderful about the house, from the start walking in the front door to having the ocean view and of coursethe master bedroom ocean view. My husband and I absolutely loved everything about it. Very dog friendly.we loved it so much we booked again for next year.. The one and only thing was the shower upstairs did not drain well at all..we had to take showers down staires. I still give it a 10 star!!! I love the history of this wonderful home,And of course Mama's bench on the hill.. pretty much every evening set up there and watch the sunset. Thank you again for sharing this beautiful home.

We needed some downtime and this home was just the ticket! Very comfortable, did not want for anything and such a great location. We were able to walk the beach for miles with our dogs so they could get all their wiggles out! We will definitely come back again! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home

We have stayed at many, many rentals up and down the coast and this is by far the most well equipped, clean and with the best view by far. Easy access to the beach. We only sleot on the king bed upstairs but it was comfortable. The only thing I'd change was the weather. Obviously the owner has no control over this one. It was a little cold and windy for August but we enjoyed the decks as they seemed more protected from the wind. Don't miss the crab chowder from Novelli's found in a little shack down on the boat dock in old town Florence. We even brought some home in our cooler for dinner. We mostly dined on fresh fish that we cooked in this well equipped kitchen. Old town has some cute shops. Not the typical junk where you you find some version of the same baubles in every shop but unique things instead. We will be back since coastal vacations that we can bring our pups to are on the agenda each summer. Don't miss reading the family history that brought about this cottage!

Wonderful Views and pretty cottage

The cabin has loads of amenities and our contact with the property manager was always pleasant and helpful. We did mention to her that there are few places to sit with a reading lamp and the dining room table has no light over it.It's a very nice place.

A slice of heaven

I cannot say enough good about this place. My boyfriend and I travel many times a year and if we are not in our rv we are in cottages and rentals . I can honestly say I do not think I stayed in a better suited and taken care of than traxlers anchor. It was AMAZING!!

Beautiful View

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here over Christmas. There was even a little Christmas tree in the living room. The kitchen was well stocked and communication with the manager was the best ever. The endless walks on the beach with our Weim were very enjoyable and peaceful. If you want some pizza, I would recommend Abey’s in Florence.

Perfect!

Perfect location overlooking the ocean. Listen to the waves and watch the sunset from the deck off of or from the large master bedroom. The house has everything you need to enjoy your stay and the property manager was readily available and helpful. We really enjoyed the easy access to the beach and to nearby Florence. We will be back!

Great place

You can see the beach, but there's not a direct pathway from the house. The public pathway is close though, so not bad. The kitchen was small, but well equipped. The master bedroom is huge and the view is amazing. The only problem we had was trying to get the air conditioner on. My friend pushed buttons downstairs which seemed to make it start working in the bedroom. working.

Beautiful seaside cottage , right next to a gorgeous beach!

I actually thought I was at the wrong cottage when I first arrived. I was pleasantly suprised at how lovely it was and the view , amazing! Just a 5 minute drive into town for essentials .

Great Heceta Beach House

What a nice house right on Heceta Beach. You couldn't ask for a better location. Great views from the lower and upper decks and from the bench in the back yard. Well furnished, comfortable, spacious and easy to get to. Everything worked great. Just steps from the beach and close to everything that the central Oregon coast has to offer. Great instructions were provided, and access was easy. We had the best time on our 10 day stay and the home was a very good value for the price. I would recommend the property and would stay again. There was a book to view the Traxler Anchor family story of the original cabin to the present-day home. Thanks, Traxler family for making our vacation memorable.

Beautiful location and wonderfully peaceful. We spent much of our evenings on “Mom’s Bench “ in the backyard that overlooked the beach and ocean. House was homey and set up well. Perfect for 2 couples. Can’t wait to come back!
