Perfect Florence Getaway

We had the best experience at Residenza Alessandra! It is in a great location within Florence - close to the Arno river, tourist spots, and great shopping. There was plenty of space within the room, bathroom, and loft above. The hospitality was great and every one was so kind to help us - including local dinner recommendations! We can't recommend this place enough!

Location was great, staff were very friendly and helpful, great size room with a lovely outlook … a few stairs to climb but there was an elevator, could do with in iron but I understand why there wasn’t one … how could you be unhappy about anything in beautiful Firenze …. Rooms are nice and big. Very near to shopping and dining area. Staff is friendly and very respectful. There are two items I would recommend that they improve. 1. Wi-Fi quality. WiFi was available but wasn’t reaching all area of our apartment. Living room, upper bed room didn’t have Wi-Fi connectivity. WI-Fi is such a basic necessity it’s like water now a days. All hotel must ensure they provide best connectivity. 2. A/c in apartment are overly complex. Owner does not know that they are not sync. Still they use just one remote for 2 different A/C units. So when remote shows 18 degree centigrade , you don’t know which room it’s showing for. Owner thinks it’s for both rooms but I can easily prove him wrong. Both room always gets different temperatures reading. Often time one A/C starts and other does not. Cutting 2 star for these.

The staff here are amazing. Andre, Monte and Lorenzo(?) were super friendly. The hotel was in a great location to all sight seeing and restaurants. It was clean and spacious. We will stay here for sure, if we are back in Florence.

This is a fantastic property - especially for a family. It is well appointed and has a great use of space. It is in a terrific location. The staff was wonderful. It is a great mix of modern convenience and old world charm. Photos online do not do the property justice. Far better in person. Would definitely highly recommend and will book again when we return to Florence. Have already recommended to friends planning a trip.
