Don't go there !!!

We sent a message telling we don't have a cellphone working in Italy for the check-in. They never answered. We borrowed a cellphone from someone in the street for the "hotel" to open the door. When we tried to open the door, the key broke. We borrowed another time the cellphone of someone in the street and they never answered!!!! We were on the street at 19h00 with our 3 months old baby. We wrote to them a message and again never answered. So we booked an other place and it was the best decision ever ! Yes it was more expensive but so worth it. From this place we only saw the corridor and there was used condoms on the floor. It is completely disgusting ... so don't make the same mistake like us and go somewhere else. We finally stayed at the alba palace hotel and we highly recommend it ! Flospirit is really bad from what we saw. Finally, they charged us the city taxes but never sleep there.

I can’t rate this property because I changed my booking to January next year but you do not seem to monitor any changes I’ve changed my booking between myself and the hotel you need to monitor what’s going on with your organisation you are a shambles money otorientated first and foremost

Great communication and location. Bathroom with unpleasant smell but that might just be the entire city. Can hear everything from neighbors. Old European apartment. You get what you pay for I guess.

Todo muy recomendable, cerca de la estación Central de trenes, la propiedad antigua pero en muy buenas condiciones, los colchones cómodos, con un patio muy agradable y a 50 mts de la parada del camión hacia la central de trenes. Lo mejor es que está a menos de 10 mins de la Catedral de Bruneleschi, a 15 de Uffici, a 15 mins de Palacio Pitti y los Jardines Bobboli y muchos etcéteras más. El único problema es que el teléfono que dan para hablar para que nos abran la puerta principal de entrada a la propiedad nunca lo contestan, si no es por un chico que salió a fumar a la calle y muy amablemente nos dejó pasar, no sé dónde hubiésemos dormido

La ubicación de la propiedad es excelente y el espacio es suficiente y adecuado pasa una estadía de varios días. La comunicación con los administradores de la propiedad es inexistente, si necesitas algo no hay forma que te respondan. Si eres extranjero para poder abrir la puerta por primera vez necesitadas roaming ya que debes hacer una llamada para poder hacerlo. Fuera de eso la ubicacion es muy buena y el estado general de la propiedad es bueno

Apartment was lovely and big, quiet neighbourhood with lots of local Italians and not many tourists, but a very close walk to central Florence. My partner and I both were really happy with the stay.

We had a lovely stay here! It definitely needed a little updating (it looked a little worn and the shower doors didn't close all the way so there was a substantial puddle after showering). But it was cute and the air-conditioning worked! Plus, it was a convenient walk to every place we wanted to visit!

My son and stayed 4 nights here. It was absolutely wonderful. The location is excellent right in the middle of everything! The Doumo is a quick couple of blocks away. I will definitely stay here again when I come back.

A little hard to find at first but once I followed the exact pin on the welcome message I was able to locate the place. Couldn’t figure out the heater, but the team quickly responded and guided me thru all needed steps to start the heater. Everything else was amazing and smooth.

This apartment is awful and unsafe. The photographs are misleading. It does not have rustic charm, it is just tatty & shabby. Not worth the money paid, regardless of location. Worst and most expensive accommodation in 4 wks of travel in major EU cities. There are no lights in the living area or bedroom, with the exception of one small LED lamp. There is a metal chequer plate staircase up to the bedroom so this was dangerous with no lighting. I complained immediately, I was asked to go & check the fuse boxes. A man then came to check and went to buy 2 standard lamps. One was too tall for the bedroom mezzanine but at least there was light. The electrics were worrying. So many light switches, few doing anything. Many sockets were loose in the wall, or didn’t work. Washing machine in the yard, didn’t work. Unexplained water on the bathroom floor. Microwave and kettle stacked on a dining chair. Dirty and damp sofa furnishings. A large loft opening over the front door with no cover. Patio doors with poor quality locks. Walls very thin. Thought someone was downstairs in the kitchen but it was next door moving around. Booked for 5 nights, stayed 1. Requested a refund for the 4 nights not stayed due the problems. Was ghosted by the contact. Expedia eventually confirmed the refund had been denied by the property. The contact didn’t have the decency to reply themselves. Don’t book this place, go elsewhere. You will feel cheated.

Please reconsider

Contact information for check-in was incorrect and I had to contact Hotels.com three weeks and then again, 24 hours before check-in time to get a response. I originally asked for a refund due to nonresponse to several texts, and the fact that Hotels.com could also not successfully connect with the host. Hotels.com would not issue one until they heard back from the host up to 24 hours before my check-in time. Contact was made finally but then on arrival, no keys were in the lockbox. We had specified a late check in with booking and verified with new host contact. Condition of bathroom was poor, shower itself seemed to be a hole in the wall and badly in need of repair. Bed was good, but single pull out was not equal to the bed. At our own cost, we did not stay for our booked duration. Hotels.com would be well-advised to update their vetting process or support their hosts better to deliver service.

Couldn’t ask for a better location. The ac works well and bed is comfortable. Host were quick to respond and be as helpful as possible. Had a wonderful honeymoon thanks so much!! I loved seeing the Mediterranean hose geckos in the courtyard.

Great Place, Great Proprietors

There were a couple of minor issues when I got to the space: Outside light above door was out (couldn't find the ket hole at night), needed a cutting board and covers for pots and couple of other small things. I let them know and when I returned to the space everrything I asked for was waiting. They were great about communication and the space itself is great. This is my SECOND time back here and working with this group. There will be a third and more.

Mysig och fräsch lägenhet!

Lägenheten var bra utrustad, ren och fräsch. Det var väldigt enkelt att komma in, och lätt att få kontakt med värden. Trädgården var lite vildvuxen men väldigt fin.

We were not happy with the apartment experience, as we would have liked the services of a concierge for taxi and eating places. I thought the cleaning fee of 40 Euros was high for only a 2 day stay. It was hard for us to get our suitcases up and down the narrow stairs. We had difficulty in contacting a person to greet us at the apartment upon arrival. We had another 'unusual" experience one morning when we were suddenly awakened at 6 AM for a medical emergency for a man living one floor below us. Firemen and emergency personnel were present and we couldn't communicate with them as to the nature of the problem and whether it concerned us. We had difficulty getting the internet to work and had to call for the technical person who closed down the router and then started the system again. This person came within one-half hour! We, also, had to restart the router later because of non-functioning internet. We needed the internet for communication as our phone was not working in Europe. We probably won't try another apartment experience.
