Modern Duomo View is a bright and welcoming apartment located right in the heart of Florence in a typical street in the historic center of the city. The apartment is located on the third floor of a historic building from which you can enjoy a beautiful view of the dome of the Duomo and Giotto's Campanile. Equipped to accommodate up to a maximum of 5 people, there is a double bed, a double sofa bed and a sofa bed, the house consists of a double bedroom, a large living room, a kitchen and a complete bathroom with shower.

The apartment has been completely renovated recently and is equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi internet, washing machine, oven and TV.

Great for a quick trip

Stayed for just one night but still had a lovely experience. The kitchen set up was pretty sparse (I had to purchase a bottle opener for some wine I purchased [I left it there for future guests]), and the television was rather small for the living room space but not a huge miss since being out exploring the city is priority #1! The AC in both the living room and bedroom worked beautifully and the bed was super comfortable.

Duomo view apartment

The apartment for the 4 of us (can fit 5) very comfortably. The description is accurate of the place. We had a duomo/ clocktower view and were seconds from the Duomo. Communication and check in was a very smooth process. The place was clean but a little dusty in some places, and the beds were okay.

The property was on the third floor and about 72 steps and no elevator; Just watch out if you have lots of luggage! also we had issues with heating and hot water tank; we did get help from the emergency number but we didn't have to deal with it during our vacation. Kitchen had basic utensils but no other stock of anything; not even tissue paper! so carry your own or be ready to buy. Location is a plus for sure! very close to duomo and the market square!

Short & Stressful time in Florence

Place is plain & pretty much pictured as is. The guy who checked us in (who is not the property manager) was very nice, helped us take a luggage up 5 flights of stairs, there is no elevator. The sofa bed was not very comfortable & I did find a bedbug. Location is great, close to everything, very convenient. The main issue I have was with the property manager. I booked this place a while ago in July since we were going to be in Florence for only 4 days. Edoardo seemed helpful at first, but the issue was with the payment. I had to pay by 9/15, my stay wasn’t until 9/30 but bc my card wasn’t letting them charge it Edoardo sent me a link to pay. I sent the full amount on the link he sent & I then told him when it was paid. He said thank you & I thought it was all complete. On 9/28 he ended up charging me for the stay again. I asked continuously & he kept insisting the payment was once on 9/28,he kept saying he had no idea what link or what payment he received on 9/15. I messaged him on WhatsApp & he was pretty responsive until I had an issue with the double payment. I sent him screenshots of the first receipt payment and of the second. He never responded back on WhatsApp only on VRBO and he said he didn’t receive any of them. He then told me he didn’t want to discuss it anymore. I was only trying to get to the bottom of it & he never responded back. It was all just very suspicious & we didn’t feel safe. If you want to book go ahead but be careful with any links he sends prior too

Amazing stay

Amazing location, clean, very comfy bed! Only thing that would have been nice, but not expected, would be to have a water or something upon arrival just because so many people are coming in from a very long day of travel. But overall it was SO nice!!

No, it's the elevator on the third piano, but if it's a walking path, it's a straight line that makes it difficult and difficult to drive. the idea of the host is taken, paid and arrived. No, this is your service: we don't have any information or you have the most quality information, you have to pay a price in one place for 1 or more times to check out and have a price of about 50 euros. If your child is in the house it is pericolosa, its door is closed if it is staccato, the door to the bathtub is not if it is closed, etc.

Host's designate check-in person showed up 1 hour late for check-in; and then wouldn't allow us to check out 1 hour late. Tried asking host; never responed. Also, place is on 4th level of 5 level building (thus 4th floor, not 3rd as advertised). Makes for a lot of steps to climb!!

Quick get away

The location is stellar. Beds were very comfy. The window in the shower was a nice touch, given no fan in the bathroom. Concierge for apartment was very responsive and nice. Easily walked to EVERYWHERE. Felt like a true Italy experience when hanging clothes on drying rack outside the window. When you stay here, you HAVE to go to the restaurant below the apartment (Osteria de Cicalini.... a family owned restaurant with great service and atmosphere, plus one of the best cheesecakes I've ever tasted). Downsides...it's up three flights of stairs (60 plus stairs to be exact). The noises in town can be distracting to those sleeping in the bedroom closest to the street (taxis beep, church bells ring, and occasional sirens). No wash clothes (a cultural thing, so bring a sponge,). No kitchen trashcan. Washing machine was tiny and took about two hours per load. Overall, a great experience... just want future travelers to know what to expect. We would stay here again if we are ever again in Florence. PS Would love to see the owner leave a book of instructions, as we have found at other VRBOs, with the wi fi password, trash disposal options, etc.
