A Fantabulous Dreaming Terrace in FLORENCE Ponte Vecchio

On the second floor of a beautiful historic building, Casa Leopardi is on two levels (living / sleeping area) and offers a beautiful terrace with stunning views over the rooftops of Florence.
The building where it is located, which takes its name from the hilly road ("coast" in the Florentine tradition) dedicated to San Giorgio, is just Oltrarno, 30 meters from Ponte Vecchio and only 10 minutes walk from the Santa Maria Novella Station.
The history of the structure is lost over time, preserving only some indisputable traces of its past. Among these, the marble inscription of the eighteenth century in which it is testified the use of the building as an oratory of Santa Maria Maddalena in previous centuries.

Very nice and clean apartment. Charming. In a good location. Beautiful view. The kitchen is a bit smaller than it looks in the pictures but was fine as we didn't cook anyway.

This was a great spot. The location was so convenient and the apartment itself was easy to stay at with comfortable beds and useable kitchen and bathroom.

Cute apartment in perfect location to the Ponte Vecchio

Lovely apartment for a couple. Loved the balcony with views of the city. If you have a car please use the garage Ponte Vecchio instead of garage Lurgano. It would be way easier!

A Perfect Stay

This apartment is beautiful! It’s in a perfect location - central to everything but on a quiet street, with an amazing view of Florence from every single window. The balcony is just amazing. The instructions were clear, and check in/out were very easy. We stayed at a few different places around Italy during this trip, and this was the best one by far. Would highly recommend!

Florence was magical and our visit was wonderful. This lovely apartment offers a view overlooking the rooftops of Florence. Be advised that the centrally located apartment is located toward the top of a very steep and narrow one way street. Guests with mobility issues may find it challenging to navigate the hill, stairs and bathroom. Recommend to guests who are looking to experience an old world lodging and experience.

The apartment was cute & spacious and the location was great. Elevator helps with luggage. Be aware the "dryer" is a rack not electric, wish the beds had been more comfortable

Beautiful Firenze Home

We loved our stay here! We enjoyed staying in a lovely Italien neighborhood rather than a busy hotel. The flat is beautiful and clean. The bed is comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the small balcony in the evening. There’s even a small lift so you don’t have to drag luggage up the stairs. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Fantastic Florence Stay

We had an amazing time in Florence. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioning worked really well in the master bedroom & living room. We had everything we needed. We had a great time and are looking forward to coming back!

Great location by Arno River.

Great accommodations with grocery store 5 minutes from the place. Beautiful spacious VRBO. Balcony view. Awesome location near Arno River and across from Ufizi. Host could provide better communication but overall, I would stay there again. Area is safe.

Great stay in Florence

Apartment in the heart of Florence with easy access to museums and 25 min walk from train. Lovely balcony for morning cafe and view of city. We started here 3 days and were very comfortable. Did laundry 1x and appreciated the kitchen for breakfast although that was the only meal we made. Recommend for small families. We slept in master bedroom and had one kids on twin bed and the other on pull out couch in sitting area.

Lovely Stay in this VRBO Right Next to Ponte Vechio!

This was a lovely property to stay so close to the city. Getting to the place was a little difficult just based on our navigation ability, but the apartment was spacious, had the best view, and was properly accommodated for us. Our one issue was that a mosquito net hung up with not reach well to cover us so we did get some bites, but it was worth it for how amazing our stay was. I would highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Florence (perhaps not a person with accessibility issues, but that would be better assessed by someone else).

Location! Location!

The apartment is on the third floor but there is an elevator. The location, just around the corner from the Ponte Vecchio was perfect for enjoying Florence. The patio was small but great for two people with a fantastic view.The kitchen is small, as shown in the photos but very functional. The bathroom space is cramped and between the two bedrooms but it worked fine for us. We had a wonderful stay and definitely would recommend it.The second bedroom was small

Great apt in Florence

Great apt in Florence, good location with lots of restaurants and cafes close by. Ponte Vecchio is very close as well as Palazzo Pitti. The bathroom is pretty tight especially when getting out of the shower. The apt is on a steep hill that taxis wouldn’t drive up so you might have to get out and walk up about 30 steps like we did. It’s much less steep from Ponte Vecchio as opposed to the other side. The nice thing about being up on a hill though is the great views of Florence. Overall we would stay again and had a great visit.

Great location and spacious

The apartment is spacious and centrally located with a lovely view from the small patio. You will need to climb steps to reach the building -- not a big deal, but if anyone in your group has mobility issues, this should be considered. Overall the property was well maintained and clean (although the tub/shower could use a refresh).
