"We stayed here for 3 nights as part of a broader trip through Germany as we toured Rugen And Usedom. This is a remote hotel within walking distance to the Baltic Sea in the quaint little small town of Devin. The rooms are a decent size for Germany and they were clean and comfortable. The staff spoke little English but were very accommodating and helpful. The restaurant was one of our favorites in Germany with exceptional schnitzel! it was five stars! Would definitely stay here again."

Some of the best food we've had in Germany. Lots of nice walking paths - along the canal, beach area, to local ruins of a monastery. You can reach the innercity of Greifswald by bus - about 25 minutes away."

"A brand new build (we visited 6/2026) to the main Hotel B&B design. Still surrounded by dilapidated ex-dock buildings, the landscaping is unfinished and there are no signs telling you how to get in (its not the dirt track, but further down!) Its a good 20 minute walk in to town, but despite this parking is still chargable, so suggest you check out the neighbouring roads."

"A nice place to stay: nice rooms and a super breakfast, but unless you are prepared to pay £70/night to park your car in their underground parking you could have quite a walk back to the hotel (like we did). We hit it lucky, though, because even though we had quite a walk we only had to pay for an hour’s parking as it was 3pm Friday afternoon and after four it’s free until Monday morning. The other disappointment was the horrific stains on the carpets in some of the corridors. The carpets really do need replacing. Apart from that, great."

"Wenn Du noch das Ostseefeeling wie vor 30 Jahren suchst (keine Bettenburgen, nicht jede Baulücke zugebaut), dann passt Karlshagen sehr gut! Die Lage des Hauses ist perfekt - gleich hinter den Dünen. Ostsee - Strand - Entspannung! Wir haben einfach nichts zu meckern .... und unser Köti fand es auch seeehr hundefreundlich ..."

"Wir waren rundum zufrieden und können die Ferienwohnung uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich aufgenommen. Mit viel Idealismus und Engagement wurde eine alte Scheune in eine moderne Ferienwohnung / Doppel-Wohnhaus umgebaut. Die Innenausstattung ist neuwertig und entspricht den neuesten Standards – weit mehr als der Durchschnitt einer Ferienunterkunft, was das Herz begehrt, ist hier vorhanden (Fußbodenheizung, großräumige Zimmer sowie Dusche, voll ausgestattete Küche - Wassersprudler!). Im Wohnzimmer sowie in beiden Schlafzimmern befinden sich TV-Geräte. Schränke zur Nutzung von Kleidung etc. sind ausreichend vorhanden. Die Unterkunft besticht durch eine überaus gepflegte Sauberkeit. Die Terrasse und der große Garten bieten verschiedene Sitzmöglichkeiten.
