"The location was great, right downtown Bayfield looking at Lake Superior! The room was very clean. It was small, but you learn to deal with that. The staff member we dealt with was very nice and helpful. We had a 2nd floor room facing Lake Superior and the harbor but the smoke from Canadian and Minnesota forest fires completely destroyed our view and the air quality! We basically were confined to our small room for two days because walking anywhere other than the close by restaurants was taxing! Island tours and cruises were cancelled, as well."

"Loved our stay here for a Bayfield vacation! The location is great, a 5 minute drive from a lot of places in Bayfield and 10-15 minute drive to many of the fruit farms nearby. Also within 15 minutes of Washburn for more restaurant options. The place was very cozy and was a great home base- perfect if you would rather eat out than cook in since the kitchen is minimal."

"We did find some trash on the floor in our room from previous guests. Overall a nice place and on the lake, we would stay again. The restaurant is very convenient and serves good food."

"We liked the place overall. The microwave didn’t work, and for 2 adults we were left with a quarter of a roll of toilet paper and lass then half a roll of paper towel. The bathroom had sand on the floor and hair on the walls. ( not so much property owners fault but cleaners) bathroom sink had some clogging issues. We appreciate it being pet friendly ( we didn’t need it this time) kitchen was nicely supplied. Bed was comfortable & location was great."

"Love it! The rooms have been remodeled in a very clean esthetic, leaving the murals that were originally here. We stayed in rm 26 and all we'd ask for is a full length mirror. 🙂"
