    Welcome to Relaxing Busy Bee, hosted by Simple Life Rentals! Here at the Relaxing Busy Bee, you can continue to stay busy even while away from home. You are just a quick jaunt to downtown Fish Creek, minutes from your favorite scenic trail or scenic overlook at Peninsula State Park, and just a short drive to several small towns in beautiful northern Door County. After the bustle of your busy day, come back to unwind and relax in a fully-stocked, quiet environment and get away from it all - all of the on-the-go and the busy. Become a Relaxing Busy Bee with us!



    The Space:

    Relaxing Busy Bee is a townhouse condo in a community of 19 Hilltop condos. The Hilltop is located near Highway 42, on the North end of Fish Creek, across from Gibraltar School and near Top of the Hill Shops. Reach out to us to rent more of our Hilltop condos for your group!

    + Outdoor, shared pool and hot tub (open Memorial Day to Labor Day)

    + Propane grill (shared with the condo community)

    + Strong Wi-Fi (supports Zoom meetings)

    + 1 Smart TV (living room) + 2 TVs (in each bedroom). All connected to Cable TV

    + White noise machines in bedrooms!

    + Iron/ Ironing Board (Coin-operated washers and dryers available)

    Sleeping Accommodations:

    - Bedroom 1: 2nd floor, Queen bed (sleeps 2), additional Vanity and Sink, TV

    - Pull-out queen sofa couch: in Living Room on 1st floor (sleeps 2)

    - Twin rollaway available



    Kitchen Amenities:

    - Kitchen facelift in spring of 2025!

    - Refrigerator, freezer w/ ice maker, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster

    - Also includes pots, pans, dishes, utensils, grill utensils, wine glasses, and baking sheets.



    Bathrooms:

    - First floor: Half-bath

    - Second floor: Full bathroom with shower and jet tub

    - Additional vanity/ sink combo in Bedroom 1



    Parking:

    - 1 reserved parking spot, numerous extra spots near unit

    - No trailer, camper, or boat parking allowed in complex (public lot behind Fish Creek library.)



    Home Truths:

    - Fireplace is not operational.

    - Nearby construction over the summer and Fall months could create noise during weekdays.



    This condo is located in a quiet community with neighbors and is geared towards quiet family vacations. Due to the proximity of neighbors and municipal restrictions, we cannot accommodate parties at the property including bachelor or bachelorette parties or other rowdy gatherings.



    Please be aware that you must sign a terms and conditions agreement, which will be sent to you separately, to finalize your reservation.

    Other Things to Note:

    Amenity + damage protection waiver includes:

    - Bed linens, pillows, blankets, and bathroom towels. (Please bring your own beach towels)

    - A starter pack of essentials which includes toilet paper, paper towel, dish soap, dishwasher soap, hand soap, and garbage bags. Due to septic systems, we do not provide facial tissue. One each of travel size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash per full bathroom.

    - PEACE OF MIND Damage protection covers up to $1000 per stay for accidental damage that is reported prior to departure (excludes any pet damage).

This was not the best VRBO we have ever had. The condo was dated and old. The beds and bedding were not comfortable and the A/C did not circulate upstairs well for sleeping. It wasn’t very clean and we were missing coffee and toilet paper which were delivered the following day. Not a terrible location. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Perfect for families

We had a great stay for our first time in Door County. The amount of space was perfect for our family of 5 and we really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The location was close to town and we would stay here again!

Fish creek condo

We enjoyed our stay. The property was in a great location: close to peninsula state park, and a little off the busy road. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals. The pool and hot tub were great!

I should have noticed the reviews were older. Very disappointed the property was not very clean compared to the photos. The kitchen had what we needed. Beds/pillows were comfortable. A heads up, the tub may be difficult for those trying to wash small children or others who are trying to get into the tub for the shower. With the faucet being on the outside side of the tub things can be difficult to manage even with a bar to hold onto. Unit pictures show the tub situation.

Our second trip to Fish Creek did not disappoint! This property is in a great location, clean, roomy enough for 4 of us, nice sized pool and hot tub and has access to laundry near the pool. No doubt we will be back!

Summer get away

The location of the condo was perfect. Easy to walk and bike to the state park, restaurants and shops. We loved that it had a pool and the neighborhood was so quiet which we appreciated. It was the most relaxed I have felt in a long time.

Perfect getaway spot

We visited busy bee condo with our 4 year old son and another couple and their 12 year old daughter. Busy bee worked out great for us. It was very comfy and clean. The owners thought of everything you might need in the kitchen as well as fans, power strips, plenty of towels, a few pool toys and more. Close enough to Fish Creek that you could walk and the pool area was great. Would stay here again.

Door County Stay

This location is a very nice location. It had absolutely everything you need and it was very comfortable for four adults. My husband and I stayed here with our adult daughters for my daughters wedding in Door county. The location was perfect with restaurants and close to all the parks. The only part that I did not care about was booking with VRBO all the fees associated with it doubled the price of what it would’ve been if I would’ve booked individually. This was the first time I use Vrbo and this will be the last time I use Vrbo and we stay in Door county probably twice a year for well over 10 years

Issues we had were dirty, kitchen floor, no Kleenex, limited toilet paper, limited amenities as far as basics for any type of cooking.Upstairs bedroom had only one source of light which was covered with a blind that was closed and did not work. We contacted The property manager the first day we arrived and we never heard back. We went our whole stay with no light source in that one bedroom. The TVs were difficult to work - the main TV was fine for streaming, but we do not stream. I would just rate this Unit as OK.

Enjoyable

We really enjoyed our visit! It was nice to have our own little condo to stay in and the grounds were lush green. The unit was just as pictured/described, except for the fact that the fireplace wasn't working (disappointing!) and it took a little communication to actually confirm that fact. We found everything we needed for cooking, etc. Hide-a-bed was not amazing comfort but the twin roll away mattress was nice and thick! (Also note that the cord for the kitchen sink light might be in the cupboard and it's a touch switch - turning that on was a mystery for us at first!) The location offered a nice balance between a secluded feel yet convenient access to attractions. We even found a new mini golf course we enjoyed not far up the street! Thanks so much -
