Quiet neighborhood, accommodating host and great communization, being allowed to use paddle boards and lake toys was a bonus, Air conditioning was great in 36 degree summer heat. Close to lake. Had groceries delivered so we didn’t have to make the drive in and out much. Lots of deer and wildlife.

Great Memories

We had a quiet relaxing stay at the home in Fintry. The house was well equipped with everything we needed for our holiday. Great area for hiking and we enjoyed the lovely backyard in the evenings and the front sitting areas in the late afternoons. Check-in was simple and we appreciated the use of the garage for parking. Historic Fintry Manor just a short walk away was a pleasant surprise. The road in and out was a bit of a challenge but otherwise a wonderful place to visit.

We enjoyed our stay in the house, quiet neighbourhood and area. The location next to Fintry Park was great for use of the beach and boat launch area for our canoe. The available games and water equipment were appreciated as we had children with us. Watching the deer that ventured onto the property was an added pleasure. The house was everything that we needed. The kitchen had everything needed. It was a neat tidy, organized house and all appliances functioned well. A wonderful place to experience a great vacation.

We stayed at this VRBO from Friday until Tuesday am. It was a great place to stay at, very clean and comfortable. The park and beach were near by. The deer walked by a few times while we were there. Lots of room in the house.

Awesome Vacation Property!

We had an amazing week here and can't wait to book again for next summer! The property was the perfect size, had more amenities and extras than we expected and was super clean. Darcy was awesome to deal with and answered questions quickly. We saw deer and quail and tons of cool bugs daily and the kids played outdoors all day. The small beach area was super cool and quiet and even though the road out of the area is a bit intense, it's still close enough to spend a day at one of the amazing local beaches in Kelowna. The owners were amazing, there were so many perks and extras and all 8 of us fully enjoyed and relaxed for our week at the property. We will be back!

Fabulous Fintry

The house was exactly as described - clean, modern, air conditioned!, accommodating with all the amenities vacationers would need including wifi, games, movies and toys. The decks were great, the yards perfect for a variety of games and the access to the lake and Fintry Park excellent. Fintry Provincial Park has a number of historic and natural attractions worth several visits. As the host acknowledged, reducing the number of times you drive back and forth either to Kelowna or Vernon involves a bit of planning or accessing delivery services. Excellent wineries are only 40 minutes away.

Fabulous home in Fintry Delta

Lovely backyard with plenty of wildlife including deer, eagles, quail and Frank the residential Marmot to entertain you while you enjoy your coffee on the large back deck. A nicely stocked pantry, barbecue, and a/c Great location, close to Fintry Falls, Shorts Creek, Fintry Manor, and Okanagon Lake. Most important Darcy the host is super friendly easy to work with and has a great sense of humour. What’s not to love?

Great Experience!

Communication was great with host and everything was what we expected. Quiet area, beautiful scenery unfortunately it was smokey due to the fire in California. Overall it was a good time and home was great.

Just what we wanted

The property is in a small neighbourhood which borders Fintry Provincial Park and Okanagan Lake. Quiet with friendly neighbours and good access to swimming. Star gazing in this dark sky area was also amazing. We enjoyed learning about the history of the area. No stores, no bars, no restaurants. If you want to get away from all that, this is a perfect place.
